WikiLeaks have reported that there are heavily armed police waiting outside of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London where Assange has been living since 2002.
This is not the first time the authorities have tried to intimidate him. It was only this week that all of his internet access was cut off.
“Julian Assange’s internet link has been intentionally severed by a state party. We have activated the appropriate contingency plans.”
The Internet is one of the few available ways for Julian Assange to maintain contact with the outside world.
Assange has been holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy since 2012.
Allegations swirled Sunday night after WikiLeaks released three hash’s through twitter, indicating that a major release was coming.
TRUNEWS correspondent Edward Szall spoke with a security official from the embassySunday night, who confirmed Assange was safe.

The internet is one of the few, if not only, available ways for Julian Assange, who has been locked up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for more than four years, to maintain contact with the outside world.
Facing extradition to Sweden over allegations of rape, which he denies, the Australian computer programmer has been holed up in the embassy in West London since 2012.
