HBO’s “Real Time” host and noted liberal ripped President Joe Biden’s angry speech at a historically black college last weekend, where he declared America inherently racist.

During his speech at the historically black Morehouse College, Biden invoked George Floyd’s death to convey the false narrative that police are killing black men in the streets and that black communities are left with “a trail of broken promises.” He also criticized Republicans, wrongfully asserting that they “don’t see [black people] in the future of America.”

“I think it’s not helpful,” Maher told Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld during his first-ever appearance on the network. “First of all, I think it was mis-anachronistic. That speech would’ve made sense some years ago. I think we should acknowledge that racism still persists, and we should always be making remedial remedies for it, but we’re not in the past.

“I always keep saying, let’s live in the year we’re living in. We’re not living in the year where you have to be ten times better to succeed if you’re a person of color, and in some instances, it’s an advantage. In some places, it’s not an advantage. But we’re not living in the world that he’s talking about, and I don’t think that helps anybody,” Maher, who has had Gutfeld on his own podcast before, said.

Maher has consistently criticized his own party for becoming “goofy” and “woke” as they move further to the left. During an April 20 episode of his show, “Real Time with Bill Maher,” he condemned the left for ignoring child abuse when it involves the wrong perpetrators, referencing the Nickelodeon scandal.

He also criticized the anti-Israel protests that aimed to occupy college campuses across the U.S., resulting in hundreds of arrests and violent clashes with law enforcement. Many Jewish students fled campus for their safety as protesters intimidated them and shouted antisemitic chants.

He also mocked Biden recently for agreeing to debate former President Donald Trump, saying Americans will search for “proof of life.”

In April, Maher complimented Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis during his show, saying he believes the former 2024 GOP presidential contender was right about his reservations regarding ‘woke’ Disney.

In addition, Maher said that he believes “Drag Queen Story Hour,” where men dressed in drag are allowed to read to small children, “borders on abuse.”

The comedian’s remarks about DeSantis pertained to the governor’s accusations that Disney sexualizes children, Breitbart News reported.

After talking about the allegations of mistreatment of child stars by Nickelodeon in the “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” documentary, Maher said the film “also exposed hypocrisy, because it must be pointed out that, when the evil Governor of Florida was saying the exact same thing about kids and creepy stuff at Disney that liberals now find intolerable at Nickelodeon, he was dismissed as a hick and a bigot.”

“But why would a kids’ content factory like Disney be all that different than the one at Nickelodeon? … [I]n 2021, Disney child star Alyson Stoner confessed she only ‘narrowly survived the toddler-to-trainwreck pipeline.‘ The next year, child star Cole Sprouse told The New York Times that young actresses at the Disney Channel were ‘heavily sexualized’ from an early age,” he continued.

“Willie Sutton said he robbed banks because that’s where the money is, and the reason we find pedophiles in the Boy Scouts and the rectory and kids’ TV is that’s where the kids are,” he continued. “DeSantis wasn’t wrong. But we’re so tribal now that the left will overlook child f**king if the guy from the wrong party calls it out. Sure, Nickelodeon messed up Amanda Bynes, but The Mickey Mouse Club was where Britney Spears got her start, and she’s perfectly fine. And get this: After Brian Peck, who was one of the lead creeps at Nickelodeon, served 16 months in prison for the molesting he did there, Disney hired him, naturally, to work on a children’s series.”
