The first presidential debate is set to take place tonight, and disturbing new reports have confirmed that NBC has already given Hillary Clinton an unfair advantage so that she can have a leg up on Donald Trump.
According to Infowars, it’s clear when looking at the debate podiums that one is much larger and taller than the other. A debate standing platform has also been spotted behind one of them.
At 5-foot-4, Clinton reportedly demanded her podium be raised so she could look taller next to Trump, who is 6-foot-3.
“Clinton is 5’4″ and Trump 6’2″ and her team wanted the podium modified or a box added so she won’t look short next to Trump,” said WABC’s Rita Cosby, according to New York Daily News. “One is clearly larger … than the other.”
However, Clinton was not given everything she requested for the debate. She reportedly also asked for commercial breaks and a stool to sit on so that she could rest, but NBC refused to accommodate her.
The debate is set to begin at 9pm and will run for 90 minutes. It is the first of three presidential debates, with the other two scheduled for Oct. 9, in St. Louis, and Oct. 19, in Las Vegas.
