It’s been less than 48 hours since Donald Trump won the election, but he’s already made a big announcement that proves he will indeed be following through on his campaign promises.
The Second Amendment has been under attack ever since Barack Obama took office, and Hillary Clinton had promised to move forward with his anti-gun plans. That’s why it came as a massive release to gun-owners everywhere when Trump announced plans to form an organization of fighters who fearlessly defend citizen’s gun rights.
Recoil reported that this Second Amendment Coalition “is to be composed of women and men who are grassroots leaders, and elected officials with a record of fighting for the Second Amendment.” According to Mad World News, the coalition will be headed by Trump’s gun-loving son Donald Trump Jr.
“My father defends the Second Amendment, so that you and I and your spouse and your children can take care of themselves when someone much stronger, much meaner and much more vicious than them tries to break into their home,” Coalition Chairman Donald J. Trump, Jr. said. “It’s not just a hobby or something I do on the weekends. It’s a lifestyle; and as my father often says, ‘this is about self-defense, plain and simple.’”
This shows that Trump WILL be following through with his campaign promises and will continue to take care of those who got him elected. SHARE this story if you support the Second Amendment Coalition!
