The mainstream media has made it look like Donald Trump has no chance of winning this election and that Hillary Clinton will win it by a landslide the likes of which has never been seen before in this country. That’s why it came as a shock to many this week when a new poll came out revealing that Trump has a massive, 23-point lead over Clinton in her home state of Arkansas.
“Arkansas voters seem unfazed by Donald Trump’s controversies and the results of this poll reinforce Arkansas’s solidification as a Republican state,” Talk Business & Politics CEO Roby Brock said Monday. “The strength of these Republican numbers at the top of the ticket could affect turnout and voter preference down-ballot in legislative and local races.”
“Trump leads with all age groups across the state, running particularly well with those in the 30-44 age range. He is also winning in all corners of the state,” said Jay Barth, professor of political science at Hendrix College, adding that Trump leads among Arkansas residents regardless of gender or education.
“Clinton does lead with all non-white voters, but Trump runs up a large lead with white Arkansans, which constitute 8 in 10 voters. She also leads with non-churchgoers, a minority of the Arkansas population, but those who are more religiously active support Trump,” he continued.
On Monday night, Trump begged his supporters at a Tampa, Florida rally to get out and vote.
“Make sure you get out and vote — or this whole movement that they’re all talking about throughout the world, it won’t be the same, folks. We’re not going to do what we want to do,” Trump said. “I’m asking you to dream big — remember we used to dream big? — and imagine all the amazing things we can do for our country. Real change begins with fixing our rigged and broken system.”
It looks like Trump may actually win this thing after all. SHARE this story if you’re voting for TRUMP!
