With just ten days to go before the presidential election, Donald Trump has earned himself an endorsement that he definitely never expected.
Conservative Tribune reported that South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who has spent most of the election season slamming Trump, has announced that she will be voting for him for president. While speaking at a press conference for the Hurricane Matthew relief fund Thursday afternoon, Haley said that while she found both Trump and Hillary Clinton to be disagreeable, she has chosen to vote for the GOP presidential candidate because of “policy.”
“I will tell you, this is no longer a choice for me on personalities because I’m not a fan of either one,” she told the Washington Examiner. “What it is about is policy.”
Haley cited damning policies from Clinton like keeping Obamacare in place, importing countless Muslim refugees, offering illegal immigrants amnesty and nominating liberal justices to the Supreme Court.
“When I look at all of those, I come back to say that the best person based on the policies and dealing with things like Obamacare, still is Donald Trump,” she continued, adding that this was not an “easy vote.”

Welcome to team Trump, Governor Haley!
