The FBI gave conservatives some very good news last week when they reopened the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server. Now, sources close to the investigation have revealed that it is EXTREMELY likely that the probe will result in an indictment, unless the Department of Justice intervenes.
Daily Mail reported that Fox News’ Brit Hume said that investigators are “actively and aggressively pursuing this case” and that they have an “avalanche” of evidence against Clinton. Sources say that there is a “90 percent chance” that Clinton will be indicted, unless the investigation is obstructed by the Department of Justice, which is a very real possibility.
The FBI was told to stand down by the Justice Department as recently as August 12, when the order came down in a terse phone call.
“Are you telling me that I need to shut down a validly predicated investigation?” the FBI’s deputy director Andrew McCabe reportedly replied.
“Of course not,” the Justice Department official responded.
During the Wednesday night broadcast of his show “On the Record” with Hume, Bret Baier said “a lot of evidence” has been found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. He said the evidence makes an indictment appear to be likely, even if it comes months after the election.
“I pressed, again and again, on this very issue,” Baier told Hume, according to Daily Caller. “These sources said, yes, the investigations will continues [sic], there’s a lot of evidence, and barring some obstruction in some way, they believe they’ll continue to, likely, an indictment.”
Baier did not say who he believes will be the target of the indictment, or when the indictment will be. However, he did reveal that his sources have told him that his sources say they are more than 99 percent confident that Clinton’s private email server had been hacked by at least five foreign intelligence agencies. The Fox News host said that when FBI Director James Comey originally announced that no charges would be filed against Clinton last summer, the FBI had no way of knowing if the server had been hacked.
