Ever since the first presidential debate on Monday, the mainstream media has been doing everything in their power this week to make it look like Hillary Clinton won.
To combat this, Fox News host Sean Hannity referenced multiple online polls that show Donald Trump to be the winner, saying that online polls are more accurate because they allow voters to truly speak their mind. According to American News, Fox News executives were not happy about this and they criticized Hannity for pushing this “science.”
“As most of the publications themselves clearly state, the sample obviously can’t be representative of the electorate because they only reflect the views of those Internet users who have chosen to participate,” Dana Blanton commented. “…Another problem—we know some campaigns/groups of supporters encourage people to vote in online polls and flood the results.”
“These quickie click items do not meet our editorial standards,” she concluded.
Hannity, however, refused to back down.
“You’ve got this list of polls, Donald Trump wins,” he argued. “You watch TV, Hillary Clinton wins.”
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade rushed to Hannity’s defense.
“The online polls show you guys won in overwhelming margins,” Kilmeade commented.
