Donald Trump just announced that he will be giving a “direct” speech to Muslims about radical Islamic terror when he visits Saudi Arabia later this month.
Breitbart reported that Trump will be meeting with the leaders of more than 50 Muslim countries during his trip. He will then give “an inspiring, yet direct speech on the need to confront radical ideology,” according to National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster. He went on to tell reporters that the president would talk about his hopes “for a peaceful vision of Islam to dominate across the world.”
It was also announced that Trump would participate in the opening of a new center in the Middle East for fighting radicalism and promoting moderation.
“By establishing and operating this center, our Muslim friends, including Saudi Arabia, are taking a firm stand against extremism and those who use a perverted interpretation of religion to advance their criminal and political agenda,” McMaster said.
We’re glad to see that we finally have a president who is not afraid to confront radical Islam head-on.
