One of Fox News’ liberal contributors sounded off at a conservative co-host after she appeared to try and make an excuse for President Joe Biden’s many gaffes.

During a tense segment on Fox News Channel’s “Outnumbered” on Wednesday, emotions ran high as liberal radio host Leslie Marshall passionately reacted to Fox News’ Charles Payne’s remarks about her intellect as the panel addressed Biden’s increasing verbal slips and memory lapses, a subject that often sparks heated debates across the political spectrum.

Payne, the ‘outnumbered’ male guest who is also a Fox Business Network host, noted that Biden, during a small campaign event during which he embellished or outright lied about his life experiences, was having trouble reading off a cheat sheet his handlers had provided him.

Payne noted how “frustrating” it is that the “mainstream media” does not cover Biden’s mistakes, adding, “Do you want your commander in chief to be someone who can’t even read off an index card?”

“Whenever Joe Biden messes up a word, I hear about it across the board,” Marshall responded. “I don’t hear the same about former President Trump this morning, I didn’t. He’s under a gag order right now, so you’re probably not going to hear much.”

She also responded to Payne’s argument by claiming that she occasionally has made mistakes on-air, pointing out that she accidentally referred to the people of Palestine as the “people of Pakistan.”

As Marshall persisted, Payne interrupted to express frustration with her narrative.

“It always offends when people talk to me and us like we’re dumb, what you make is such a dumb example. We’re not talking about you or me or her making an occasional gaffe,” he declared.

“I don’t think you’re dumb –” Marshall began before Payne cut her off.

“We’re talking about gaffe after gaffe after gaffe!” he roared.

“I don’t appreciate you calling me dumb,” she responded.

“No, you’re not dumb! You’re insulting! Gaffe after gaffe after gaffe after gaffe!” he added.

“It is not just a slip of the tongue. He does it each and every speech. This is why each and every poll shows the American voters, a majority, do not think he has the mental acuity. Even Democratic voters I’ve seen polls that show this,” Kayleigh McEnany added.

Biden went viral again earlier this month after making another embarrassing gaffe as concerns continue to mount about his mental fitness for office.

During a joint press conference in the White House Rose Garden alongside Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Biden said voters should “Elect me, I’m in the 20th century” — another brutal gaffe that went viral on social media from critics who say he’s too old for another four-year term.

“Why doesn’t everybody holler at once?” Biden said as reporters shouted questions at him before pausing to answer several queries from reporters.

NBC News reporter Peter Alexander asked Joe Biden to comment on the most recent abortion decision by the Arizona Supreme Court, where the court upheld a law from 1864 that bans abortion from the moment of conception, with only one exception – if the procedure is necessary to save the life of the mother.

“Elect me,” Biden replied when asked for his reaction.

“I’m in the 20, 20th century,” said the president, appearing confused.

A moment later, Biden caught himself and added, “21st century, not back then. They weren’t even a state.”

Polls consistently show widespread concern among voters about Biden’s cognitive fitness for the presidency. He would be 86 years old at the end of a potential second term in 2029.
