Former First Lady and habitual Nannyist Michelle Obama, professed to be one of the People. Yet her interaction with Americans was often pedantic, professorial or used to unleash invective against conservatives.
Guests of hers to the White House were hardly ever allowed into the People’s house, but made to stand in her garden area listening to her rattle on about the benefits of eating arugula.
First Lady Melania Trump, by every measure a woman who could be labeled a rich elitist, has never acted the part. She has been a very down-to-earth, empathetic woman who knows that her husband and herself are servants of the People and not the other way around.
The Daily Caller reports that on May 12, Melania Trump opened the White House Movie Theater to the public for the first time ever.
Built during the presidency of the Left’s favorite socialist, Franklin Roosevelt, the theater was refurbished by President Reagan and was updated in 2004.
In announcing the new self-guided tour attraction, Melania said, “The White House belongs to the people of this country. I believe everyone who takes the time to visit and tour the White House should have as much access to its rich history and wonderful traditions as possible. It is my hope that our visitors truly enjoy the newest piece of the tour.”
As always, the First Lady continues to be a first-class act and an inspiration to all Americans.
