Americans everywhere are still focused on dissecting the first presidential debate, so Michelle Obama is quietly taking the opportunity to shirk her first lady duties and try to influence people to vote for Hillary Clinton.
According to The Post Gazette, Michelle is set to spend the day campaigning for Clinton throughout Pennsylvania. She will begin by speaking in Philadelphia at the Tom Gola Arena on LaSalle University’s campus at noon. There, she will be joined by Democratic Senate candidate Katie McGinty, who is locked in a tight election battle with Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey.
Afterwards, Michelle will head to Pittsburgh to give a speech at the University of Pittsburgh’s Fitzgerald Field House at 3:30pm.
This is more proof as to how desperate the Obamas are to ensure that Clinton beats Donald Trump in this election. It’s been documented that Michelle has no love for Clinton, but she knows that Donald Trump will immediately destroy all of her husband’s ridiculous policies, so she’s willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that the Democratic presidential nominee makes it to the White House.
Meanwhile, Clinton will be joining Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders on the campaign trail today as she tries to bring young voters over to her side. Though young voters played a large role in getting Obama elected, Clinton has struggled to win over this group.
