U.S. Farmers Issue Dire Warning About Biden Policies Destroying Agriculture

Inflation and “sustainability” are causing a catastrophe for American farmers, and liberals are ignoring the damage that is being caused.

That is the word from farmers who spoke to Fox News about the issue last week.

A pair of farmers spoke to host Laura Ingraham and explained how Democrat policies are affecting the industry.

“Farmers are going out of business every day,” John Boyd Jr., who founded the group Black Farmers of America, said.

“What’s happening is America’s beef cattle producers are depleting their herds. So they’re not having more calves so they can multiply,” he said.

Boyd said that beef production decreased by a billion pounds in the past year, and he said that Americans could soon find this issue affecting them.

“We have farmers facing foreclosure. And the USDA will not stop farm foreclosures in this country for direct loans, guaranteed loans and other agricultural lenders,” the farmer, a former Republican Congressional candidate, said.

“And I’ve made that request on your network many times,” Boyd added.

Shad Sullivan, a Texas farmer, said that globalism is the issue that is damaging farmers.

“It’s the global elites — claiming that climate change is ruining the world and that we must implement sustainability: which is just production and consumption control across the world,” he told Ingraham.

“We see it going on all over — because of this, we’re becoming vertically integrated in our system. The beef cattle industry is the last bastion of freedom,” he said.

Fox News reported:

He said it is therefore time to fittingly “take the bull by the horns” and stop global elites from implementing sustainability regulations that would cripple Western agriculture – particularly ripping claims that cattle are a danger to the world.

He warned that corporate agricultural interests have already invested resources in studying consumption of insects including crickets as a potential replacement for purportedly dangerous beef and pork – citing a report that chicken titan Tyson Foods earlier this month invested in a Dutch insect ingredient maker.

However, in comments to CNN, Tyson CFO John Tyson said the company’s focus is more on “ingredient application with insect protein” rather than “consumer application.”

Sullivan later added such problems are however, “liberty and freedom issue[s]. And that’s where we have to focus on. We have to stop this.”

Ingraham made news last month when she shredded President Joe Biden and referred to him as an “old dog.”

“Sources are telling NBC News that it was Biden himself who raised his son’s death when trying to recall when he discovered classified docs at the rental home. Well, Biden brought up the timing of Beau’s death, then he couldn’t recall the year. The first lady even sent out a fundraising appeal decrying the use of their son’s death to score political points,” the host said.

“Now, this is all absurd. Either Biden forgot the details of his interview with the special prosecutor, or he is being purposely deceptive in trying to make money off of a craven, false storyline. Whatever the truth, the old dog can’t learn new tricks and won’t answer for anything,” Ingraham continued.

“There’s an audiotape of the special prosecutor interview, we understand. Release it, Mr. President, as Trump released his Ukraine call when questions arose about that. But Biden doesn’t answer real questions because he literally can’t. He makes none of the major decisions, not about Ukraine, not about China, not about the border, not about the economy,” she said.

“The entire white House is run by some, I don’t know, some amalgam of Jill Biden, a few key staffers, and, of course, the campaign. Of course, one way to alleviate the concerns about Biden’s mental condition would be for him to just submit to a basic cognitive test. But the White House, they already nixed that to shift the narrative away from Biden’s feeble condition. They’re hoping that other octogenarians can really help rally the base,” she said.
