Another short video clip of President Joe Biden went viral on Friday as he attempted to answer a question about the Senate runoff race in Georgia. The race involves incumbent Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock, who is being challenged by Republican Herschel Walker, a former University of Georgia football standout and NFL star.

As Biden signed legislation to stave off a pending railway strike, he was asked about going to the Peach State to stump for Warnock by a reporter.

“I’m going to Georgia today to help Senator Warren,” he said, appearing to indicate Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who represents Massachusetts.

Biden moved to quickly try to clarify his remarks, though it again appeared as though he was stumbling for words.

“Not to Georgia, I’m going to help Senator Warren to them to do a major fundraiser up in Boston today,” he said.

“For, for the, uh, our next and continued Senate candidate and senator,” Biden added before trailing off.

For the record, Biden did travel to Massachusetts on Friday afternoon to take part in a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee event, among other functions, before retiring Friday evening to Camp David, Md.

Republicans have repeatedly called on Biden to take a cognitive exam, as then-President Donald Trump did after Democrats pressured him to do so.

In September, after the president appeared to call out to Rep. Jackie Walorski, who was killed in a motor vehicle accident in late August, during an event, GOP lawmakers have repeated earlier demands that Biden is given a cognitive test to measure mental function.

“Joe Biden’s diminished capacity is so blatantly obvious that even the White House Press corps couldn’t hide their concern,” Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas said. “That’s how you know it’s bad.”

“In yet another pathetic display of incompetence, Joe Biden not only thought my departed colleague was alive, but he also had his puppet-master, Karine Jean-Pierre, deny he was confused,” Rep. Ronnie Jackson (R-Texas), a former White House physician who has routinely called on Biden to take a cognitive test, added, according to Fox News.

“It doesn’t take a neurologist to realize he’s in serious cognitive decline,” he added. “The American people know what’s going on here, and they don’t think the Commander-in-Chief is capable of doing his job.

“It’s past time for White House staff and the liberal media to stop shielding him from questions about his mental acuity and demand he answers my call for a cognitive test,” he continued.

Rep. Greg Murphy, R-N.C., a still-practicing surgeon as well as the GOP Doctors Caucus vice chairman, told Fox News Digital these “kinds of senseless gaffes have become par for the course for this president” while blasting the White House for their “cover-up” of Biden’s latest gaffe, the outlet reported.

“The American people can see that Mr. Biden’s mental acuity is certainly in question,” Murphy said. “What’s more disturbing to me, however, is the way in which this White House continues to deceive and misdirect the American people on a daily basis.

“It appears there is nothing the White House won’t do to cover up for a failed president and a failed administration,” Murphy added. “The American people clearly deserve better.”

Kyle Hupfer, the Indiana Republican Party chairman, noted in a statement following Biden’s mistake that it “calls too much into question.”

“No amount of spin from the White House can justify President Joe Biden forgetting the tragic passing of Jackie Walorski — the latest gaffe that calls so much into question,” Hupfer said.

“The American people deserve a straight answer, not a political talking point, as to how the President of the United States could forget that a congresswoman he was purportedly trying to honor had passed away just last month,” he continued.

“White House Spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre’s explanation is a disrespectful lie to Jackie’s constituents and the American people,” Hupfer added. “We deserve a real answer.”

Biden has steadfastly refused to sit for a cognitive exam, and Democrats have regularly covered for him when pressed to explain the gaffes.
