Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake released her full interview with 60 Minutes Australia and she did not miss a beat correcting the Trump-obsessed reporter.

Before the interview started, Kari Lake said, “Did you hear that Laim? We’ve got about 15 minutes,” and Liam Bartlett responded, “Okay, alright. Well, let’s get started.”

Lake brought her own camera to film behind the scenes to ensure nothing was taken out of context or cut to make her look bad.

In the video clip, Lake called it the “most biased interview” of her life after the reporter persisted in asking endless questions about President Donald Trump, the 2020 election, and even the incident at the U.S. Capitol last January.

Lake is running to be the next governor of Arizona. It didn’t make sense for the reporter to question Lake for nearly 20 minutes about Trump and the Capitol incident.

It was clear he had an agenda.

In the full interview clip, the reporter consistently cut-off Lake when she was speaking, claimed she was “telling fibs” about his allotted time, and even accused her of making “xenophobic comments” about Australia’s lockdowns.

Below is a transcript of the off-record argument, where Lake shut him down by asking if is “kind of considered a joke” in Australia.

Bartlett: Propaganda?

Lake: Oh my gosh, if you can’t see it, if you can’t see it, sir. Then you’re even more brainwashed than you could imagine. And I feel for the people of Australia. They’re being abused by their leaders. They have no rights and their media is continuing to try to brainwash them. You were probably one of the guys pushing the fear with COVID so that people would stay in their homes and wouldn’t go out, and that the children would be masked. You were probably one of the guys pushing that fear on your TV station. And I’ll tell you what, the masking of children and the torture of the people. People are never gonna forgive you for that and they’re never going to forget. So I suppose you’re the kind of guy that masks your children. Right?

I don’t live in Australia. Are you actually a respectable journalist there or are you kind of considered a joke?

Bartlett: I suppose you’re the sort of woman who also believes the moon landing was a conspiracy. I mean, how many institutions do you want to tear down?

Lake: Oh my goodness. So you masking your children. Is that your way of not answering Are you masking your children your beautiful children’s faces?

Bartlett: This is what Donald Trump does straight out of his playbook.

Lake: Liam, it was a pleasure meeting you. This has just become comical. I’m leaving. Actually, thank you for giving me a good laugh because you actually make some of the crazy reporters and people at CNN look almost respectable. So thank you, sir. Appreciate your time.

Next, the reporter sarcastically asked Lake, “So, we’d be better off having more guns here?”

“You absolutely would sir. I feel so sorry for the people of Australia, they have no power,” Lake responded. “The only thing keeping us from becoming Australia today, or Canada, is our Second Amendment. And we will never, ever let that go, mark my words.”

“What we saw in Australia where you have internment camps and people are being forced if they’ve encountered anybody with Covid to be locked into a quarantine camp is the most horrifying thing I think I’ve ever seen a government do. It’s frightening, and if you can’t see that, I feel sorry for you,” she told 60 Minutes Australia.
