Former Attorney General William Barr revealed this week that the Biden bribery record is not closed and that it was sent to the U.S. Attorney in Delaware for further investigation.
Barr spoke with The Federalist and was asked about Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin’s claim that Barr had ended an investigation into an informant’s allegation that President Joe Biden had agreed to a $5 million bribe.
“It’s not true. It wasn’t closed down,” Barr said when asked about Raskin’s comments. “On the contrary, it was sent to Delaware for further investigation.”
“Former Attorney General Barr went on the record with The Federalist following statements Raskin made to the press Monday afternoon. Soon after attending a closed-door meeting with House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer and the FBI — at which lawmakers reviewed the FD-1023 form summarizing a CHS’s detailed allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden agreed to accept money from a foreign national to affect policy decisions — Raskin spoke to the media,” The Federalist reported.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Raskin said: “What I learned was that Attorney General Barr named Scott Brady, who was the U.S. attorney for Western Pennsylvania, to head up a group of prosecutors who would look into all the allegations related to Ukraine. After Rudy Giuliani surfaced these allegations, Brady’s team looked into the FD-1023 and “in August determined that there were no grounds to escalate from an initial assessment to a preliminary investigation. They called an end to the investigation.”
Raskin then claimed that it was Barr and his “handpicked prosecutor Mr. Brady, who was a Trump appointee” who decided there were no grounds to investigate the informant’s claims against Biden.
Barr says that is not true.
The former AG said the informant’s claims detailed in the FD-1023 were sent to the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office for further investigation.
Jamie Raskin LIED!
The Department of Justice’s investigation into Biden Family corruption was never closed.
The American people deserve to know the truth on the Biden abuse of power and corruption, but his Democrats keep trying to cover it up.https://t.co/0Y8evduo1U

On Monday, Florida GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna revealed that the FBI is “afraid” that an informant who brought the bureau information regarding an alleged bribery scheme involving then-Vice President Biden would be “killed if unmasked.”
A whistleblower who has reportedly provided Republicans with evidence alleging Biden was involved in corrupt ‘pay-for-play’ schemes as vice president has been frequently used by the FBI since the Obama administration and is deemed to be “highly credible.”
As first reported by Fox News, the individual has alleged that the former VP “was involved in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national” and is an “FBI confidential human source…used by the bureau in multiple investigative matters dating back to” Barack Obama’s two terms in office.
The outlet noted further that House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa were recently contacted by a whistleblower who made a claim that the FBI possessed a document known as an FD-1023 form dated June 30, 2020, that allegedly contains explicit information provided by a confidential human source.
According to the source, the document outlines allegations that during his time as vice president, Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme amounting to $5 million. The scheme purportedly involved a foreign national and aimed to secure influence over policy decisions, Fox News added.
Just left meeting for House Oversight. The @FBI is afraid their informant will be killed if unmasked, based on the info he has brought forward about the Biden family.

A source familiar with the matter told Fox News Digital that the confidential human source who provided the information regarding Biden to the FBI is a “pre-existing” FBI source who has been utilized in various investigations unrelated to the information concerning Biden.
The source also told the outlet that the confidential human source has been used by the FBI for “at least several years” before the June 2020 FD-1023 form detailing the Biden allegations was even generated.
The source also told Fox that the confidential human source was “consistently reviewed by the FBI” and has always been “found to be highly credible” who also took part in several investigations undertaken during the Obama administration.
Fox News noted further:
The information in the FD-1023 form, according to the whistleblower, reveals “a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose” and details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions.
An FD-1023 form is used by FBI agents to record unverified reporting from confidential human sources. The form is used to document information as told to an FBI agent, but recording that information does not validate or weigh it against other information known by the FBI.
“FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national. This form, generated by the FBI from a highly credible human informant with years of experience, tracks closely with what we are seeing in our investigation into the Biden family’s influence-peddling schemes,” Comer said in an interview with Fox News Digital, making a reference to the House Oversight Committee’s wider probe into the Biden family’s foreign business dealings.
