President Joe Biden became enraged over the border crisis and used several expletives as illegal immigrants continued to pour over the already overburdened southern border, according to a book about his first term in office.

According to Chris Whipple’s “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House,” Biden was enraged as his administration tried to stem the flow of migrants across the border amid a historic surge and mounting criticism.

“Meanwhile, illegal immigrants kept arriving. And Biden was furious,” the book says. “Aides had rarely seen him so angry. You could hear the president from all over the West Wing cursing and dropping f-bombs. He’d always apologize when women were present.”

One senior adviser told Whipple that the frustration came from a “lack of solutions.”

“It’s like, ‘How would you feel if you were me and these were the solutions you had?’ It’s the weight of the presidency, right?’” the adviser said.

In another section, Whipple revisits the border crisis, writing: “Next to vaccine disinformation, this was the thing that made Biden’s blood boil.”

Whipple also describes Biden as “on a short fuse” on a separate issue later in the year.

“Early in his term, he had reserved the f-bomb mostly for discussions of the southern border, but lately he was using it more often,” the book says.

The book also made headlines for reporting that Biden once described Vice President Kamala Harris as a “work in progress.”

It was revealed on Saturday morning that the number of illegal immigrants in the United States had skyrocketed since the Biden administration took office in 2021, according to data from the United States Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) for fiscal year 2023. The number of people crossing the southern border of the United States is at an all-time high.

US Customs and Border Protection reports a record-breaking 2.4 million border arrests during the fiscal year of 2023. September marked the end of the fiscal year.

The previous fiscal year’s record was $2.3 million, so this is an increase.

Nearly twice as many people on the terrorist watch list have been apprehended as in any previous year. According to CBP statistics, the number of non-citizens apprehended at the border who were on the terrorist watchlist rose to 172 in 2023 from a previous high of 98 in 2022. Since the Biden administration took office in 2018, there has been a dramatic increase from the previous high of six in 2018.

With a total of 3,201,144 encounters, law enforcement officers saw a rise of 434,562 in 2022. The total number of meetings has steadily risen from 2020 onward, from 646,822 to 1,056,51 and then to 1,244,625.

Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter to bash the department for attempting to bury the release.

“Of course, Customs and Border Patrol waits until Saturday morning to release the new disastrous border numbers so that no one is paying attention. So we understand what the invasion looks like. 267 terrorists (these were caught; imagine how many got through?), 8 million+ illegal aliens since Biden took office, and 72,823 illegal special interest aliens (from countries that harbor terrorism) over the last 2 years. This is not an accident or a coincidence; this is deliberate by Democrats, and it will destroy our country,” Trump Jr. concluded.

Many Republicans are wondering what the administration is doing to prevent terrorists from entering the country illegally in the wake of Hamas’s terrorist attack on Israel on October 7.

Missouri Senator Josh Hawley wrote to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to inquire about the agency’s response to an “increase in potentially terrorist-linked illegal aliens” who have been apprehended at the southern border.

“I write with alarm regarding the uptick in potential terrorist-linked illegal aliens encountered at the southern border,” Hawley wrote. “This development comes after the barbaric attack by Hamas terrorists on defenseless American and Israeli civilians.”

He said it was “imperative that [he] address this issue immediately to ensure the safety of American citizens, especially Jewish Americans, who are facing increased threats to their physical safety following the Hamas attack.”
