Trump Appears To Concede To Biden, Then Takes It Back

In a statement that sent shockwaves across the Internet, and possibly the world, President Donald Trump appeared to concede to Joe Biden.

The statement came on Sunday and was taken as a concession by many in the media, but what do you think?

“He won because the Election was Rigged. NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a Radical Left privately owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more!” the president said in a quote tweet of a video from “Watter’s World.”

“All of the mechanical “glitches” that took place on Election Night were really THEM getting caught trying to steal votes. They succeeded plenty, however, without getting caught. Mail-in elections are a sick joke!” the president said in a subsequent tweet before retweeting several tweets from “Watter’s World” talking about the presidential election.

“Was Joe Biden installed? Many people asking that question after big tech, big media, and big money are trying to drag him across the finish line. Historian @VDHansonis here with more, tonight. #FoxNews 8PM ET,” the show said in one tweet.

“President Trump is not going away anytime soon as he is said to be the head of the GOP for decades to come. Congressman @mattgaetz and @nedryun are in Watters’ World to discuss the future of the Republican Party, tonight. #FoxNews 8PM ET,” it said in another.

“Watch @RudyGiuliani interview on @MariaBartiromo this morning at 10:00. Doing a great job exposing the Rigged Election Hoax!” the president said in another tweet after retweeting two others from “Watter’s World.”

But the first tweet, in which he appeared to acknowledge that former Vice President Joe Biden won the presidential election, is what got the most attention from the media and others.

“President Donald Trump has yet to concede the presidential election, but on Sunday he came close to acknowledging that he lost in a tweet,” Yahoo News said.

“Donald Trump has appeared to concede the US election for the first time, saying that president-elect Joe Biden ‘won,’” Sky News said.

“He made the admission in a tweet along with more unfounded claims the vote was unfairly and deliberately stacked against him,” it said.

“President Trump on Sunday appeared to acknowledge that President-elect Joe Biden had won the 2020 race for the White House — but chalked up the outcome to the election being ‘rigged,’” The New York Post said.

“This is as close as we’re going to get to a concession. But like all things Trump, he will pull back on this over and over again. Two hours from now he could tweet that he won. In private he will still say he won for years to come. But he’s ripped off the bandaid,” reporter Yashar Ali said.

But a short time later the president clarified his position in two tweets.

“RIGGED ELECTION. WE WILL WIN!” he said in one.

“He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!” he said in another.
