President Joe Biden refuses to speak freely in the presence of U.S. Secret Service agents tasked with protecting him because they are white Southerners, according to an explosive new book.

In the new book titled, “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House,” author Chris Whipple wrote that the Secret Service “is full of white ex-cops from the South who tend to be deeply conservative.”

“Wary of his own Secret Service agents, the president no longer spoke freely in their presence,” according to Whipple.

In some excerpts, Whipple claims Biden views the Secret Service with suspicion, fearing agents are loyal to his predecessor, former President Donald Trump.

The Hill’s Alex Gangitano reported: “President Biden doesn’t trust some of the Secret Service agents around him and doesn’t believe certain details of the biting incident with his dog Major, according to a new book about the administration. Chris Whipple’s ‘The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House’ says Biden has trust issues with some agents, due in part to the fact that some agents are strong supporters of former President Trump.”

Whipple wrote, “A bigger problem was Biden’s discomfort with his Secret Service detail; some of them were MAGA sympathizers. He didn’t trust them.”

Whipple also claims Biden at one point asked, “Do these people really want me here?”

Last week, Biden shared a Twitter video of himself gloating about how quickly he can sign legislation and it was cringe-worthy.

“At the end of a historic, productive session of Congress full of bipartisan results, I still have a few bills left to sign,” he said on his official government account with the video. “Take a guess how long it took me to sign a stack of 65 of them,” the caption said as the video speeds by him signing them. The entire task took 10 minutes and 41 seconds.

The video ends with text on the screen that says: “President Biden. Gets It Done. For Working Families.”

But a fact check by Western Journal casts doubt on that text, it reported.

A glance at the most recent batch of bills signed by Biden shows that of those 65 bills he signed, virtually none of them actually do anything for working families. That’s a pretty glaring problem for a video whose entire point was basically to scream “Look at how fast Biden works for families!”

US HB3285, one of the 65 bills that Biden signed, is called the “21st Century President Act.” This bill has the incredible responsibility of modernizing “terms relating to the president the spouse of a president.”

“Section 879(b)(1)(A) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking ‘the wife of a former President during his lifetime, the widow of a former President until her death or remarriage’ and inserting ‘the spouse of a former President during a former President’s lifetime, the surviving spouse of a former President until the surviving spouse’s death or remarriage,’” the bill reads.

Not certain how changing gender terms is assisting working families.

US HB681 and HB785 are two pieces of legislation that aim to give some immigrants permanent resident status.

Some of the legislation is to rename post offices and another is to remove a bust from the Ole Supreme Court Chamber.

Western Journal reported on what the legislation does:

Renaming government buildings (military bases, post offices, etc.): 33 bills

Granting citizenship: 2 bills

Removing busts: 1 bill

Amending gendered terms: 1 bill

Studying salt lake ecosystems: 1 bill

A wildlife refuge amendment to modify boundaries: 1 bill

That’s a whopping 39 bills out of the 65 Biden signed that really include nothing of benefit for working families.

And the other 26 aren’t exactly slam dunk wins for working families either, but at least they will likely prove some tangible benefits. Elsewhere in Biden’s 65 signed bills is a bill that would establish a Department of Homeland Security Center for Countering Human Trafficking, and numerous bills aimed to make all things involved with Veteran Affairs easier, smoother and better.

A year-end report House has not shed a nice light on the immigration policies of Biden.

The report showed that more migrants were caught at the border in October and November of 2022 than in the entirety of 2020, the Center For Immigration Studies reported.
