Devout Christian, NFL Star Tim Tebow Announces Major News

Former collegiate and NFL star Tim Tebow and his Miss Universe wife, Demi-Leigh Tebow, announced this week that their family is expanding.

In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared a video of themselves holding hands, with the former NFL quarterback revealing a series of ultrasound photos to announce that they were expecting.

At one point in the clip, the former beauty queen turned around to show off her baby bump, and both of them smiled broadly, clearly excited about the news. The post was captioned simply, “Baby Tebow,” with an announcement that their little one will be arriving this summer, the Daily Wire reported.

Demi-Leigh told the magazine, “We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together,” with Tebow, a Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback at the University of Florida, adding that he’s “honored for the privilege of getting the responsibility and the joy of being mom and dad.”

“I’m so grateful because I just couldn’t imagine a better life partner to do life with first and foremost,” she added. “To be able to raise a little tiny human being together. I’m so grateful that Tim is my husband… that we get to do parenting together.”

“I feel like every time I say, ‘Tim’s going to be a dad!’ it feels so surreal,” the former Miss Universe noted further.

Tebow, a college football analyst who played a short stint in the NFL and won a playoff game with the Denver Broncos, shared with the magazine that learning he and his wife were going to be parents gave him an entirely new perspective on life.

“It’s just amazing how it also reprioritizes and changes what you put an emphasis on and what you value most,” he said. “News like that just supersedes the level of importance and the level of joy that you have. It’s just so cool.”

As a strong pro-life advocate, Tebow garnered significant attention when he shared his mother’s story at the 2021 March for Life event. During his speech, he spoke about his mom’s faith in God and how, despite doctors advising her against it and recommending an abortion, she chose to give birth to him, as previously reported.

In late December, meanwhile, President-elect Donald Trump was joined by Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis at this year’s annual Army-Navy college football game in Andover, Md.

“NEW: Florida Governor @RonDeSantis will attend the Army-Navy football game with President Elect @realDonaldTrump next Saturday, per source familiar with DeSantis’ schedule,” Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin posted on the X platform.

Melugin’s report came following a story by The New York Times claiming that Trump was considering replacing defense secretary nominee Pete Hegseth with DeSantis, a claim that ultimately proved to be false.

Before the game, Trump posted on X; “Pete Hegseth is doing very well. His support is strong and deep, much more so than the Fake News would have you believe. He was a great student – Princeton/Harvard educated – with a Military state of mind. He will be a fantastic, high energy, Secretary of Defense, one who leads with charisma and skill. Pete is a WINNER, and there is nothing that can be done to change that!!!”

Vice President-elect JD Vance posted a screenshot of Trump’s statement, adding: “Led by President Trump, we’re fighting for Pete Hegseth. And we’re doing so because Pete Hegseth wil fight for our troops. For too long, the Pentagon has been led by people who lose wars. Pete Hegseth is a man who fought in those wars. We’ve got his back.”
