The Democrat Party is crumbling due to the fighting amongst themselves that they have been doing in passing two key bills crucial to the Joe Biden agenda, and now another member of the party is expressing his frustration.
Virginia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe, who served as the governor of the state from 2014 to 2018, appeared on the CNN show “State of the Union” with host Dana Bash and shredded the Washington politicians.
“We’ve got frustration with Washington. You know, why haven’t we passed this infrastructure bill. It passed the U.S. Senate with 69 votes two months ago,” he said. “We’re tired of the chitty chat up in Washington. Get in a room and get this figured out.”
“They’re paid to get up Washington, get this done and the frustration is, why isn’t it done by now? Sixty-nine votes in the Senate two months ago, get it done this week,” he said.
“I notice that you said Washington, and you don’t say Democrats. As you well know, you’re talking about the Democratic president you helped elect and democratic controlled Congress. You’re frustrated with their own party. Are they dragging you down?” the host said.
“You bet I’m frustrated,” he said.

The conversation started when the host asked McAuliffe, who campaigned with Joe Biden in his state, about a recent video of him appearing to distance himself from the president, calling him “unpopular” in his state.
He was seen in what appears to be a Zoom video teleconference raising concerns about Biden’s sinking approval ratings.
“We got to get Democrats out to vote,” he said. “We are facing a lot of headwinds from Washington, as you know. The president is unpopular today, unfortunately here in Virginia, so we have got to plow through.”

McAuliffe is in a tight race for governor in Virginia against Republican Glenn Youngkin.
It certainly speaks volumes when Biden’s own allies are throwing him under the bus and trying to distance themselves from him.
What’s even more troubling for Biden is that he campaigned for McAuliffe back in July, but now McAuliffe seems to be trying to distance himself from him.
Fox News reported:
Rachael Bade, a reporter for Politico, told ABC’s “This Week” that McAuliffe has been showing Democrats how to run and has “definitely been distancing himself” from the president during the campaign.
James Hohmann, a columnist for the Washington Post, wrote in a recent column that Youngkin “ripped Biden during the final debate in Alexandria on Tuesday for ‘an abject failure of leadership’ in Afghanistan and the ‘absolute chaos’ at the southern border. McAuliffe didn’t come to the president’s defense on either issue. Instead, he said a $3.5 trillion price tag for the Democratic reconciliation package is ‘too high.’”
It’s also suspicious how the video leaked.
The Zoom teleconference was between McAuliffe and other Democratic allies. So someone leaked the clip of McAuliffe trashing Biden and it certainly seems like they did so with a purpose.
Polling suggests a very narrow race in the upcoming gubernatorial election between McAuliffe and Youngkin.
“McAuliffe, a former governor, and Youngkin, a businessman, and political newcomer, are within three points of each other, according to a compilation of polls from the polling analysis website FiveThirtyEight. As of its most recent update on Sept. 30, 47.3% of likely voters say they will support McAuliffe and 44.4% intend to support Youngkin,” Inside Nova reported.
“In the past month and a half, polling has remained mostly steady with McAuliffe holding a narrow lead on Youngkin. Although a lead of less than 3% is within the margin of error in most polls, a large majority of the polls show McAuliffe with a lead and only a handful gives Youngkin a lead or found the support to be even,” the report added.
