Fred C. Trump III, the nephew of former President Donald Trump, has endorsed Kamala Harris for president.
In an interview on ABC’s “The View,” Fred discussed his feelings over the impending election to sell his biography, “All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way.”
Co-host Joy Behar said that in the 2016 and 2020 elections, Fred and his sister, Mary Trump, abstained from voting for their uncle.
“[Mary] has said famously that there is not one redeeming quality for this man. And both the times, you voted for the Democrat,” Behar said, asking: “So is it too much of an imposition to ask you who you’re going to vote for in 2024?”
Fred Trump responded: “I believe in policy over politics and without question, Kamala Harris’ policies are what I get behind, so I will be voting for Kamala Harris.”
“And if I’m asked, I will campaign for her without hesitation,” he added.

Eric Trump took to social media to respond to the news, saying he found his cousin’s endorsement of Harris to be an act of family disloyalty.
“It’s disappointing that after decades of unwavering love, support, golf memberships, family vacations and millions of dollars in support for his wonderful son, Fred Trump has decided to ‘cash in’ less than a 100 days before an election. I have signed the checks and witnessed first-hand as my father, and our family, has provided endless financial support so that Fred’s son could receive the best possible medical care,” Eric Trump said.
“To read this garbage and see that he has now followed his troubled sister [Mary Trump] simply earn a quick buck is disgusting, disheartening and a prime example of ‘no good deed goes unpunished,'” Eric Trump added in his post.

Meanwhile, Harris is facing a new accusation from an attorney for Donald Trump, who claimed that the vice president was “co-conspiring” to hide President Joe Biden’s declining mental state for nearly four years.
In addition, attorney/spokeswoman Alina Habba suggested that Harris’ actions might be criminal.
Habba addressed a crowd of Trump supporters at a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The lawyer currently serves as a senior adviser to Trump’s re-election campaign.
“President Trump has been and is innocent of any crime other than loving this country,” Habba began, per Fox News.
“Let me tell you, Kamala,” she continued. “You are committing a crime because the only co-conspirator I know of the Biden-Harris administration is you, and you have lied to us about President Biden for the last three and a half years.”
She then pivoted to a basket of policies she supported alongside Biden that have been harmful to the country and a majority of Americans, including a porous southwestern border, high inflation and interest rates, and elevated gas, food, and housing prices.
