Elon Musk took Joe Biden to task on his X platform Friday over the president’s lax immigration and border enforcement policies, accusing him of flooding the country with further Democrat voters so as to create a “one-party state.”
Billionaire Musk, who has consistently criticized Biden’s handling of the border crisis, shared a headline from a 2021 news story that exposed Biden’s plan to prioritize providing legal status to an estimated 11 million people during his presidency.
“Biden’s strategy is very simple,” Musk wrote. “1. Get as many illegals in the country as possible. 2. Legalize them to create a permanent majority – a one-party state. That is why they are encouraging so much illegal immigration. Simple, yet effective.”
In a subsequent tweet, Musk made reference to an assault against two NYPD officers this week by as many as five illegal migrants, who were arrested and quickly released.

As happened this week, you can literally assault police officers in broad daylight in New York, be released with no bail, give everyone the finger and *still* not be deported!! Outrageous,” he said in a tweet quoting his previous post.

Last week, the billionaire responded to President Biden’s push for a bipartisan Senate deal to address the unprecedented influx of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border. The bill is anticipated to allocate billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine.
“No laws need to be passed,” Musk wrote. “All that is needed is an executive order to require proof before granting an asylum hearing. That is how it used to be.”
In addition, Musk also agreed with Silicon Valley entrepreneur and investor David Sacks, who posted last week to the platform that Biden broke the border on purpose “because this administration refuses to enforce the laws we already have.” Musk responded by writing, “Exactly.”
Biden has claimed in recent days that he is doing “all I can do” in regards to the border, but Republicans have pushed back and, like Musk, have claimed he does not need any new laws to clamp down on illegal crossings.
Several GOP lawmakers have argued that Biden could immediately reimpose the executive orders issued by then-President Donald Trump that he reversed on his first day in office, such as renewing the “Remain in Mexico” policy and restarting construction of the border wall.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said on the House floor last week that Biden and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas designed the “catastrophe” at the southern border.
“He’s inviting chaos and disorder within our land that is tearing at the very fabric of our society. The president can put a stop to this,” Johnson said.
“And now, rather than accept any accountability or responsibility for what they have clearly done, President Biden wants to somehow try to shift the blame to Congress for his administration’s catastrophe by design. It’s absolutely laughable. No one’s falling for this.”
The House is working on impeaching Mayorkas, which will largely be symbolic since he isn’t likely to be convicted in the Democrat-controlled Senate, and he’s simply following Biden’s policies.
In November, Musk issued a dire warning to the Biden administration during a Twitter Spaces event that he believes the White House is “sleepwalking” into the next global war.
During the online event hosted by Sacks and featuring then-2024 GOP presidential contender Vivek Ramaswamy, Musk deadpanned that the U.S. “should try to avoid that if at all possible.”
“Let’s just say that in order for there to be a global conflict, a World War Three, you have to have two superpower alliances where one cannot easily defeat the other. And that is the case,” he said, noting that U.S. policy under Biden is driving Russia and China closer together.
“And that, I think, is a massive shift in thinking that most people do not understand. Most people on this call may understand, but most do not. I think we want to try to avoid that,” he added. “I hope it is not something that the tides of history are simply going to sweep us in that direction because there is a strong argument that these things are actually unavoidable and the tides of history will sweep us in that direction whether we like it or not. But we should try to avoid that if at all possible.”
