Fox News personality Kat Timpf surprised a live audience Wednesday night by announcing that she is pregnant with her second child, adding another major development to an extraordinary two-year stretch that included the birth of her first son and a battle with breast cancer.
Timpf, a comedian and regular panelist on Fox News’ late-night program “Gutfeld!,” revealed the news during the show’s taping, telling the audience that she is approximately four months pregnant.
The announcement quickly began circulating among viewers and fans of the program, many of whom congratulated the 37-year-old commentator and her husband, Cameron Friscia.
The pregnancy comes less than two years after Timpf gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son, in February 2025.
That birth came under dramatically different circumstances.
Approximately 15 hours before going into labor with her first child, Timpf learned that she had Stage 0 breast cancer.
She later described receiving the diagnosis and giving birth within hours of each other as one of the most surreal experiences of her life.
Timpf said doctors discovered the cancer at an extremely early stage and were confident it had not spread. Nevertheless, doctors recommended that she undergo a double mastectomy.
She subsequently underwent the procedure and later announced that doctors had successfully removed the cancer.
When Timpf returned to “Gutfeld!” following maternity leave and treatment, she discussed the experience with her characteristic dark humor while telling viewers that she was cancer-free.
“I am boob-free. I am cancer-free as well. They got everything,” Timpf said during her return, drawing laughter and applause from the studio audience.

Timpf has continued undergoing reconstructive procedures following the mastectomy while returning to television, stand-up comedy, and other professional projects.
In a January interview with People, Timpf said the combination of becoming a mother and surviving cancer had significantly changed her perspective on life.
“I have a lot of gratitude,” she said, describing herself as a “changed person” following the experience.
Timpf has also been candid about the emotional consequences of the diagnosis and treatment, including the challenges of recovering from major surgery while caring for an infant.
Her first pregnancy had itself presented difficulties.
While pregnant in late 2024, Timpf dealt with a hip injury that required her to use crutches while continuing to perform and appear on television. She frequently joked publicly about the physical challenges of pregnancy while continuing her stand-up schedule.
Timpf ultimately gave birth to her son in February 2025, just hours after receiving the cancer diagnosis.
She described the timing in an unconventional birth announcement posted on social media, explaining that she had spent the afternoon discussing cancer treatment with doctors before going into spontaneous labor that night.
The diagnosis also changed what was supposed to have been a conventional maternity leave into months of medical appointments, surgery and recovery.
Timpf underwent a double mastectomy in March 2025. By the time she returned to Fox News later that year, she said doctors had determined that the cancer had been successfully removed.
The Fox personality has spoken repeatedly about how motherhood helped her cope with the experience, saying she considered herself fortunate that the cancer was discovered so early.
Timpf married Friscia, a former Army Ranger, in 2021.
She joined Fox News in 2015 and has become one of the most recognizable personalities on “Gutfeld!,” appearing regularly alongside host Greg Gutfeld and other rotating panelists. She has also worked as a stand-up comedian, columnist, podcast host and author.
Timpf has written two books, “You Can’t Joke About That” and “I Used to Like You Until…,” both of which became bestsellers.
