Former White House press secretary and Fox News co-host Kayleigh McEnany delivered a touching personal announcement on Fox News’ “Outnumbered” on Tuesday, revealing that she and her husband, Sean Gilmartin, are expecting their third child.
McEnany, already a mother to 5-year-old daughter Blake and 2-year-old son Nash, shared the joyful news with her co-hosts and viewers, proudly holding up an ultrasound photo of her baby.
“Sean and I are expecting our third child, which we’re so excited about,” she said.
The announcement was met with cheers from her fellow panelists, who erupted in excitement as McEnany shared that she would be documenting her pregnancy journey on social media and during the show. She also teased an upcoming gender reveal, joking that the colors she wore—blue shoes and a pink accent—were not clues about the baby’s sex.
“This is from recently,” McEnany said, holding up the ultrasound image. “So you can see the baby. It’s very sweet. It’s been a special time.”
She discussed how meaningful this experience has been for her family, recalling her daughter Blake’s affectionate interactions with her growing belly. “She runs up and holds my stomach and says, ‘Let me kiss the baby,'” McEnany added.
As she reflected on the blessing of new life, McEnany turned to scripture, quoting Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you,” and Luke 12:7, which speaks of God knowing the number of hairs on each person’s head.
“It’s not just a message about my baby,” she said. “It’s a message about all of you. That’s how much He loves us.”

Last month during an Outnumbered segment, McEnany pointed to a 2017 Washington Post article about bureaucratic resistance to President Donald Trump during his first term after Marie Harf, a former official in the Obama administration, complained about the firing of government workers.
During the discussion, McEnany mentioned reports that some federal government workers were trying to stay “out of spite” so they could wait for Trump’s term to end.
“I do think that federal employees fall into three buckets. You have the political appointees, some of whom are thrilled that this is happening. They see this as a revolution in government. Then you have this other pot of hardworking federal government employees, I think they don’t care who the president is, I think they care deeply about their job and that pot does exist, but that is not all federal workers,” McEnany said.
“There are federal workers that have this attitude, this was an NBC anonymous communication that came to them, I saw this a few weeks ago, a federal employee at the Department of Veterans Affairs, ‘A lot of us are going to stay out of spite,’ they said. ‘We’re here for however long we want to be here. I could be here until retirement in 30 years, the Trump Administration is only here for four.’ What’s wrong with trying to root out and employees staying out of spite?” McEnany continued.
Harf replied that the firings were not legal and went on to criticize DOGE for “attacks on public servants.”
“DOGE isn’t managing these people and at the same time, people across the country can’t pay their mortgages or put food on the table for their kids because they got fired from a job they thought had job security. That is not electorally or morally a good plan, I think, for Republicans,” Harf said.
McEnany then mentioned the Post story again: “It’s easy to oversimplify and point to some stories of individuals who got termination notices, but the background is this: This is not a Republican newspaper, conservative newspaper, this is ‘the Washington Post’… years ago: ‘Resistance From Within The Federal Government.'”
