Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon is warning that “winter is coming” and it won’t be pretty for the American people.

During a segment on his “War Room Podcast,” Bannon warned that the “bleakest, darkest Christmas in living memory” is coming.

“The revered Economist, what is their headline? The Shortage Economy. America needs to prepare… Get ready for the bleakest, darkest Christmas in living memory… This is far beyond stagflation,” Bannon said.

“We’re entering into another faze. It’s all the converging forces. Remember, elections have consequences, illegal elections have catastrophic consequences,” he added.

”This is why we’re in dangerous territory right now. Biden’s fiscal and monetary stimulus is the most reckless thing in American history. And you know who’s going to pay for that, the workers… I’m gonna tell you, This Christmas, it’s going to hit and it’s going to hit like nobody’s business. And nobody else in all media is going to tell you this,” he added.

Bannon, one of Donald Trump’s first campaign managers and top advisers, is also predicting that Trump’s “MAGA” agenda, which puts America and Americans first and foremost in all policies, will win big over at least the next two election cycles.

Bannon made his remarks at an event in Washington, D.C., last week, according to reports, in which he also predicted that Trump will retake the presidency and win a second term in 2024.

“We’re going to have a sweeping victory in 2022, and that’s just the preamble to a sweeping victory in 2024, and this time we’re going to be ready — and have a MAGA perspective, MAGA policies, not the standard Republican policies,” he told political appointees at a Washington, DC, social club.

He went on to say that once Republicans managed to retake Congress and the White House, GOP leaders should be ready to deploy “shock troops” aimed at dismantling the massive federal bureaucracy to the extent possible.

“If you’re going to take over the administrative state and deconstruct it, then you have to have shock troops prepared to take it over immediately,” Bannon said in a telephone interview with NBC News. “I gave ’em fire and brimstone.”

Regarding shock troops, Bannon says ideally, trained teams of bureaucracy busters should be ready to go on day one of a new Trump term or, whenever a new Republican president is elected.

Shapiro told the network that organizers are still working out who will lead the association. But “he said the need for institutional memory is apparent,” NBC reported.

“What we’re hoping to do is build a base of people that can be available as a support system for political appointees who are coming in for the first time,” he said. “It’s easy if you know the rules, to accomplish your objective.”
