Vice President Kamala Harris faced social media mockery as she offered a lengthy explanation of the concept of “culture,” which some saw as yet another instance of what they considered a “nonsense” comment.

Harris participated in the 2023 Essence Festival of Culture on Friday, where she engaged in discussions covering diverse subjects such as small businesses and abortion. As part of the event, the vice president elaborated on her perspective and provided her definition of culture, Fox News reported.

“Culture is — it is a reflection of our moment and our time. Right? And present culture is the way we express how we’re feeling about the moment and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment. That is a reflection of joy. Because you know…it comes in the morning,” Harris said, breaking into her characteristic cackle.

She then added: “We have to find ways to also express the way we feel about the moment in terms of just having language and a connection to how people are experiencing life. And I think about it in that way, too.”

The “word salad” led to new criticism of her “empty” nature on social media.

“Good Lord,” Karen Townsend, Hot Air contributing editor, responded.

Radio host Chris Stigall added in a tweet: “This is the emptiest human being alive. Sincerely. Empty. Vapid. Nonsense.”

“Kamala Harris is just Michael Scott in female form and Vice President vs. branch manager,” investor Jason Howerton offered.

“Kamala tried to define the word ‘culture’ today… And it went about as well as if a 9-year-old had to give a book report on a book they didn’t read… This is cringier than most Biden talks,” wrote comedian Tim Young.

“OMG – what is wrong with this babbling brook of a woman?” Fox News contributor Liz Peek added.

“Artificial Intelligence Czar explains ‘culture,’” actor James Woods quipped.

Doug Powers of Twitchy remarked, “Can somebody tell Kamala she shouldn’t be eating every gummy in the package all at once?”

YouTuber Ranting Monkey went on to say as well: “Kamala will go down in history as the most quotable woman to even be a woman who makes quotes about quotes a woman might quote.”

Harris’ approval ratings have never been as good as those of President Joe Biden — and his haven’t been spectacular, especially over the past several months.

But according to a new survey, she has officially become the least popular VP in modern history.

An NBC News poll conducted earlier this month and published this week found that just 32 percent of registered voters have a positive view of Harris compared to 49 percent who have a negative view, leaving a net negative rating of -17 points, or “the lowest for any vice president in the poll’s history,” the outlet reported Monday.

Indeed, 39 percent of respondents said they have a “very negative” view of Harris.

The outlet noted that Harris’ approval rating is the lowest for a VP since 1995 when Al Gore was VP to President Bill Clinton. During his tenure, VP Mike Pence was at 34 percent positive and 38 percent negative in October 2019 for a -4 rating.

Throughout her tenure in the White House, Harris has faced criticism from detractors who argue that she did not adequately prioritize her role as the leader of the Biden administration’s efforts to address the migration challenge at the U.S.-Mexico border or other initiatives she’s been tasked with.

And, of course, her public speaking engagements have often been subjected to ridicule due to what some perceive as a continuous stream of incoherent word salads.

Because of her unpopularity and Biden’s obvious fading mental and physical capabilities, Democrats have grown increasingly fearful of her taking over as president should Biden, who is 80 and the oldest president in the country’s history, become incapacitated, reports have said.
