Conservative author and podcast host Dana Loesch is not one to back down from anyone when she believes she is right and she lived up to that reputation on Wednesday in an epic Twitter thread that took the left-wing ladies of ABC’s “The View” to task over a hot-button election issue.
Loesch posted her remarks after the co-hosts ripped her publicly for suggesting that Georgia Republican Senate candidate Hershel Walker, who allegedly paid for an abortion, was a better choice than his opponent, Democratic incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock, who has advocated for greatly expanding the procedure. “I’m not willing to make more babies pay for Walker’s actions,” Loesch said before advising Republicans to remain focused on the issue as the midterm elections approach.
“Reminder: Democrats don’t care about saving the lives of babies, they just want control of the senate to expand abortion. I want to win the senate so they can be blocked. At least I’m honest about it,” she tweeted.

The backlash from The View began, not surprisingly, with co-host Whoopie Goldberg, who proclaimed that she was so angry about Loesch’s response that she had to refrain from using derogatory names and language.

The Daily Wire reports: Goldberg began with video from Loesch’s radio show in which the host argued that if the story — which Walker has denied — was true, “Walker used his money to reportedly pay some skank for an abortion and Warnock wants to use all of our monies to pay a whole bunch of skanks for abortions.” Pointing an accusatory finger in the air, Goldberg announced that there were many women who “found themselves” in the position of needing an abortion. “How dare you call them skanks!”
Goldberg went on to argue that the real point was the hypocrisy — saying that Walker was calling abortion “murder” while he allegedly financed one himself. She then demanded that Loesch stick to the topic — which was Walker’s supposed hypocrisy — instead of calling people names and addressing the fact that in both cases, they were talking about killing unborn babies.
Goldberg attempted to claim the moral high ground at that point, adding, “I’m keeping calling you a name out of my mouth because it’s not the right thing to do.”
“That just exposes the moral rot that’s taking over my party,” the show’s new self-described Republican co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin added. “I can’t defend that for a second. As a pro-life woman, to hear someone else like Dana who is pro-life call women who get into situations where they need abortions ‘skanks’ is just shameful and I will not defend that.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin, meanwhile, chimed in to refer to Loesch’s days working with the NRA, calling her the “spokesperson for the AR-15” and suggesting that she’s just fine with people shooting others just so long as they are not engaging in abortions. And Anna Navarro, another co-host, sounded a hypocritical note when she said, “I hate it when women attack other women!” — though the co-hosts regularly attack other women who don’t agree with their liberal worldview.

Loesch waded into all of the co-hosts on Twitter, beginning with Goldberg. “FIRST OF ALL, @WhoopiGoldberg — I refuse to coddle or celebrate irresponsible women who use abortion as birth control. I’m right, so get over it. That you’re angrier over that than murder speaks volumes about your character.”
She then turned to Griffin: “Oh, and @Alyssafarah — good to know you find an honest description of females who use abortion as birth control more heinous than actual murder. Thanks for showing you’re willing to put lives on the chopping block if it means the left will validate you.”

Her response to Hostin was straightforward: “My job is a radio host and the whole issue is fairly simple.” She then wrapped up with a response to Navarro’s complaint about women attacking other women, writing: “Then she’ll really hate it when they abort them.”

For his part, Walker denied a report in the left-wing Daily Beast quoting an anonymous woman who claimed that he paid for an abortion.
“This is a flat-out lie — and I deny this in the strongest possible terms,” Walker said in a statement. “This is another repugnant hatchet job from a Democrat activist disguised as a reporter who has obsessively attacked my family and tried to tear me down since this race started. He’s harassed friends of mine, asking if I fathered their children. He’s called my children ‘secret’ because I didn’t want to use them as campaign props in a political campaign. Now, they’re using an anonymous source to further slander me. They will do anything to hold onto power. It’s disgusting, gutter politics. I’m not taking this anymore. I planning to sue the Daily Beast for this defamatory lie. It will be filed tomorrow morning.”
