Vice President Kamala Harris went off on a protester as she gave a speech where she mourned “the loss” of Palestinians who were killed during an Israeli military operation that rescued four hostages.

The vice president was the keynote speaker at the Michigan Democratic Party Legacy Dinner which was held on Saturday night, but before she began her speech she spoke about the hostage rescue operation, Mediaite reported.

“Before I begin, I just say a few words about the morning, which I know weighs heavily on all of our hearts,” the vice president said. .”On October 7, Hamas committed a brutal massacre of 1,200 innocent people and abducted 250 hostages.” “Thankfully, four of those hostages were reunited with their families tonight. And we mourn all of the innocent lives that have been lost in Gaza, including those tragically killed today.”

She began to speak about the administration’s effort to get both Israel and Hamas to agree to a ceasefire, but a female protester stood and began shouting at her, though it is not known what she said before security removed her.

“I value and respect your voice, but I’m speaking right now,” the vice president said sternly before continuing to talk about the prospective deal.

“We have been working every day to bring an end to this conflict in a way that ensures Israel is secure, brings home all hostages, ends ongoing suffering for Palestinian people, and ensures that Palestinians can enjoy their right to self-determination, dignity, and freedom. As President Biden said last week, it is time for this war to end,” she said.

But the event was not the only place that pro-Palestinian protesters were this weekend.

It was a chaotic scene outside of the White House as pro-Palestinian protesters descended on the nation’s capital on Saturday.

One of the protesters was seen with a Hamas headband on, showing support for the terrorist organization, and holding a bloody face mask of President Joe Biden, Fox News reported.

The report said that others wore similar headbands, waved Palestinian flags, chanted “Down, down occupation,” and one burned an American flag.

“Holding signs that accused Biden of being on “the wrong side of history,” protesters converged on the White House Saturday morning after security measures at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue were tightened in anticipation of the planned demonstration,” the report said.

“Protesters waved Palestinian flags, chanted ‘Free Palestine!’ and held signs, urging Biden to stop his support for Israel.

“Although the protest started out peacefully, hostile demonstrators soon began targeting park rangers, shouting ‘F-you, fascist!’ and ‘piggy, piggy, oink, oink!’” it said.

Some protesters made a human chain around the White House that they referred to as “the people’s red line,” an allusion to President Biden saying that Israel invading Rafah would be a red line.

President Biden was not at the White House at the time of the protest as he has been in France commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

“There is no world in which I can confidently vote for” President Biden, Nas Issa, a spokeswoman for the Palestinian Youth Movement, said to The New York Times. If the president “doesn’t change course and hold Netanyahu and the Israeli government at large to account, under what circumstances would it be acceptable to any person of conscience to vote for him?” she said.

Former President Donald Trump has taken a strong stance against the anti-Israel protesters on college campuses.
