The White House has been in rescue mode to save President Joe Biden after the report by Special Counsel Robert Hur in which he stated that the president had memory issues.

One of the things the special counsel noted was that the president did not appear to remember when his son, Beau, had died, to which President Biden took great offense.

But Fox News host Laura Ingraham took the president and the White House handlers to task and revealed some stunning information from other media outlets.

“Sources are telling NBC News that it was Biden himself who raised his son’s death when trying to recall when he discovered classified docs at the rental home. Well, Biden brought up the timing of Beau’s death, then he couldn’t recall the year. The first lady even sent out a fundraising appeal decrying the use of their son’s death to score political points,” the host said.

“Now, this is all absurd. Either Biden forgot the details of his interview with the special prosecutor, or he is being purposely deceptive in trying to make money off of a craven, false storyline. Whatever the truth, the old dog can’t learn new tricks and won’t answer for anything,” Ingraham continued.

“There’s an audiotape of the special prosecutor interview, we understand. Release it, Mr. President, as Trump released his Ukraine call when questions arose about that. But Biden doesn’t answer real questions because he literally can’t. He makes none of the major decisions, not about Ukraine, not about China, not about the border, not about the economy,” she said.

“The entire white House is run by some, I don’t know, some amalgam of Jill Biden, a few key staffers, and, of course, the campaign. Of course, one way to alleviate the concerns about Biden’s mental condition would be for him to just submit to a basic cognitive test. But the White House, they already nixed that to shift the narrative away from Biden’s feeble condition. They’re hoping that other octogenarians can really help rally the base,” she said.

Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany, a former press secretary for then-President Donald Trump, gave a brutal assessment of President Joe Biden’s press conference after Special Counsel Robert Hur released his report on the president’s handling of classified documents.

“We just saw an unmitigated disaster play out before our very eyes. We just watched a wounded political animal hobble to a podium and react with defensiveness, with anger, and you know it’s bad, Jesse, when you have the White House press corps. They are essentially an extension of the Joe Biden press and communications team,” she told Fox News colleague Jesse Watters.

“When they are shouting at him, asking repeatedly, ‘Are you going to step aside, Mr. President?’ The CNN correspondent asking that. When NBC, of all places, writes the headline, a nightmare, special counsel report triggers panic among Democrats. When you have a president who for 45 minutes announces a press conference with no topic, giving the world 45 minutes to speculate, is he stepping aside? What would life be like under a President Kamala Harris? For 45 minutes, the nation got to feel that panic, and I don’t think they will forget it come November,” she said.

There were even Democrats who were upset with how the president handled the press conference.

Democratic strategist Paul Begala, a CNN contributor, believes that Biden’s press conference after Hur released his report on his handling of classified documents was also bad for his party.

“How much Democratic bedwetting do you think there will be? I bring up the term (inaudible),” host John Berman asked.

“Oh yes. Look, I’m a Biden supporter. I slept like a baby last night. I woke up every two hours crying and wet the bed. This is terrible for Democrats, and anybody with a functioning brain knows that. But here’s what you do, instead of calling a press conference saying I really am sharp, you attack the other guy,” the Democrat strategist said.
