Donald Trump made a slew of interesting comments this week during an interview with conservative commentator Dan Bongino.

During an interview on “The Dan Bongino Show,” Trump said if he runs for president in 2024, he could jump into the race and tap a running mate “right after” the midterm elections next year.

Trump teased the idea of making a major comeback in the 2024 presidential election.

“I am giving it the most serious consideration, as you can imagine,” Trump said. “If you do it, I think probably the most appropriate time would be right after the ‘22 election.”

“I could do it sooner, but I think right after the election would be good — especially if you have a good election,“ he said.

“Now I am not sure if you didn’t have a good election, I’m not sure that that wouldn’t be good also if you want to know the truth,” he added.

Clearly, former Vice President Mike Pence is long gone.

Otherwise, Trump would have at least mentioned Pence’s name or spoke about him in some way.

Instead, Trump said he may “tap a running mate right after the midterm elections” if he runs again in 2024.

Earlier on Wednesday, it was announced that Donald Trump is planning to bring back his famous “Make America Great Again” political rallies — and they may happen much sooner than most expected.

Trump may resume his political rallies as soon as May.

Last week, Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he’s “very seriously, beyond seriously” considering running for president in 2024.

Trump told Hannity that he will “very seriously” consider running again in 2024 if the Republican Party can “get the right people” on Capitol Hill.

Trump added that he is “all in” to campaign on behalf of Republican candidates in next year’s midterm elections.

“I got tremendous numbers, nobody’s ever gotten the numbers I got, no sitting president’s come even close,” Trump said, referring to the 2020 election.

“There’s more popularity now than there was the day before the election because they see how bad things are at the border, they see what’s going on, they see there are guns are going to be gone,” he added.

During an interview last month with Lara Trump, his daughter-in-law who is now a Fox News contributor, Trump strongly suggested that he may run for president in 2024.

When asked about his supporters having hope that he will run again, Trump said: “You do have hope, that I can tell you, you do have hope. We love our country, this country, we all owe a lot to our country, but now we have to help our country.”

Trump also officially launched a brand new website.
