President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the entire Biden family should be very concerned about what is going to happen after the 2022 midterm elections.

Republican lawmakers are preparing a list of people and things they want investigated in they win the midterms which include Hunter Biden, Fauci and the border, The Daily Mail reported.

Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) criticized federal agencies under the Biden administration for a ‘lack of transparency’ when stressing the need for Congressional oversight, in comments to The Hill.

Of particular interest to the Wisconsin lawmaker, who chaired the Senate Homeland Security Committee until 2021, are the business dealings of the president’s son Hunter.

Johnson revealed he had been trying to get the younger Biden’s travel records for a ‘couple of years’ but to no avail.

“It’s like a mosquito in a nudist colony. It’s a target-rich environment,” he said on Sunday.

“There’s so much more in terms of what happened with our federal health agencies that we need to explore,” he said referencing the response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“The lack of transparency in these agencies. The lack of their willingness to comply with legitimate congressional oversight,” the senator said.

“I mean I think that’s an investigation right there, is why can’t Congress conduct legitimate oversight anymore,” he said.

Johnson had previously teamed up with Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) to release an ‘interim report’ weeks before the 2020 presidential election titled ‘Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns.’

The report accused Hunter Biden of ‘cashing in’ on his father’s role as vice president in the Obama administration but found no wrongdoing on the part of then-candidate Biden himself.

But Johnson indicated there was more to the probe. Senate control shifted to the Democrats when Biden took office.

“I’d kind of like that to wrap that up. We’ve been trying to get his travel records for a couple of years now,” he said.

And he was not alone.

“I’m sure there will be plenty of ingenious individuals thinking about what to do on those committees,” Indiana Sen. Mike Braun said.

And then there was Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul who has a target on Fauci since the two have been feuding for months.

Earlier this year he vowed to investigate the doctor.

“If we win in November, if I’m chairman of a committee, if I have subpoena power, we’ll go after every one of [Fauci’s] records,” he said during an interview with podcaster Lisa Boothe.

“We’ll have an investigator go through this piece by piece because we don’t need this to happen again,” he said.

The Senator and Dr. Fauci have had some incredibly heated debates during Senate hearings that have become legendary.

In January the senator tore into Dr. Fauci, blaming him for the more than 800,000 COVID deaths in the United States.

“The idea that a government official like yourself would claim unilaterally to represent science and that any criticism of you would be considered a criticism of science itself is quite dangerous…It is cheap politics & it is reprehensible,” the senator said.

“You are the lead architect for the response, and now 800k people have died,” he said.

Paul said that Fauci conspired with a colleague to “create a quick and devastating published takedown of three prominent epidemiologists from Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford.”

“In an email exchange with Dr. Collins, you conspire and I quote here directly from the email to create a quick and devastating published takedown of three prominent epidemiologists from Harvard, Oxford and Stanford,” he said.

“Apparently, there’s a lot of fringe epidemiologists at Harvard, Oxford and Stanford,” he said.

“A published takedown, though, doesn’t exactly conjure up the image of a dispassionate scientist. Instead of engaging them on their merits, you and Dr. Collins sought to smear them as fringe and take them down and not in journals in laypress,” he said.

“This is not only antithetical to the scientific method, it is the epitome of cheap politics and it’s reprehensible, Dr. Fauci,” the senator said.

“Dr. Fauci do you really think it’s appropriate to use your $420,000 salary to attack scientists that disagree with you?” he said.
