Though she has said she does not want to be a part of her father’s 2024 campaign or subsequent administration should he win a second term, it is evident that former first daughter Ivanka Trump still cares deeply for her father, former President Donald Trump.

According to a report on Thursday, Ivanka made a low-profile trip to see her father at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Sunday, two days before he was arraigned on criminal charges in a Manhattan courtroom the following Tuesday.

“The former first daughter saw him on Sunday at his Palm Beach, Fla., fiefdom ahead of his arraignment on Tuesday in New York,” noted Page Six, the gossip column.

Though no photos were released to document the visit, the outlet noted the trip was seen as “a seeming display of support for him privately — after she’d previously distanced herself from his latest White House campaign.”

Ivanka’s avoidance of her father’s court appearance on Tuesday was also noted by several other media outlets, with New York magazine pointing out that she was among the “conspicuously absent” Trump family members.

The story, headlined “Ivanka Trump Supports Dad, Just Won’t Be Seen With Him,” raised doubts about the accuracy of Page Six’s report on Ivanka’s visit to Mar-a-Lago on Sunday.

According to the New York Post, Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, did not attend Trump’s speech upon his return from the New York court proceedings. The outlet reported that the couple is supporting Trump privately as family members.

A brief statement had been released by Ivanka just two days prior regarding her father’s indictment on 34 counts of falsifying business records.

“I love my father, and I love my country,” she wrote. “Today, I am pained for both. I appreciate the voices across the political spectrum expressing support and concern.”

The liberal media heavily criticized Ivanka for her limited statement regarding her father’s indictment on 34 counts of falsifying business records.

Insider said her “meager 27-word response” was the “blandest statement possible.”

The Daily Beast described it as an “Extremely Low Energy Statement in Support of Dad” and added the subtitle, “The former first daughter has broken her silence — barely.”

Previously, Page Six reported that a source said Ivanka and Kushner “want nothing to do with” Trump’s 2024 campaign.

“Ivanka lost a lot of friends and her social scenes during his presidency,” the source said, per the outlet. “They want to put it in the rearview. They want it behind them.”

Another source quoted by Page Six said the couple is “happy building their life in Miami.”

Shortly after Donald Trump announced his third bid for the White House at Mar-a-Lago in November, Ivanka released a statement distancing herself from it.

“This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family,” she said in a statement. “I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.”

“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” she added, per the Daily Wire. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

She told Fox News that she is close to her dad and that he “hasn’t changed and will never change.”

“I’ve had many roles over the years but that of daughter is one of the most elemental and consequential,” she said. “I am loving this time with my kids, loving life in Miami, and the freedom and privacy with having returned to the private sector. This has been one of the greatest times of my life.”

As she discussed her three children — Arabella, 11, Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 6 — she noted that they were at “critical ages” and as such she preferred to enjoy “these moments with them.”

“We’re happy where we are right now, and we will continue to support my father — as his kids,” Ivanka Trump added.
