Joe Biden let everyone know who is really in charge in his marriage and, big stunner, it is not him.

It started at a ceremony honoring the Major League Baseball World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers, but it did not end there.

It started when Kamala Harris quipped that her husband came home wearing his Dodgers jersey the night before, as it was insinuated she cheered for another team. And then Biden gave his remarks.

“I tell you what — well, you know, we have — you know, when you talk about mixed families, I got a mixed family and she’s got a mixed family, based on baseball and sports.  I’m not going to mention that team in northern California, in the San Francisco area.  And I’m not going to mention that team in Philadelphia,” he said.

“My wife is a Philly girl from her belt buckle to her shoe soles.  And if — if I root for anybody but the Phillies, I’ll be sleeping in The Lincoln Bedroom alone,” he said.

But then, later in the day, he again quipped that if he did something that his wife did not like he would be sleeping alone in the Lincoln bedroom when he was speaking to The National Education Association.

“The NEA is  one of America’s indispensable organizations. I’m just saying that, because the first lady’s a member,” he said.  I noticed, I knew what you all we’re going through. Jill taught full time this semester, full time. I watched Jill getting ready to teach classes and going back to school herself,” he said.

“Learning how to work online, rapidly work online and to teach online. It gave me an appreciation first hand that I thought I had, but I wouldn’t have had, had I not seen it,” he said.

“And again, I’m, not saying this because of something, Jill, I would, in truth if I didn’t support the NEA I’d be sleeping in The Lincoln Bedroom alone and that’s not where we sleep. We don’t sleep in The Lincoln Bedroom. I’d be sent down to it,” he said.

Sleeping in The Lincoln bedroom must be a major threat in this White House because he said it two times in the same day.

And there is something that Biden did not mention when he was touting the NEA as an “indispensable” organization and that is the fact that it is a top donor to Democrats, Fox News reported.

President Biden said Friday that the National Education Association, among the very most generous donors to his campaign and liberal causes, is “one of America’s indispensable organizations.”

Biden’s campaign raked in just over $232,000 from teachers unions during the 2020 election cycle, according to the Center for Responsive Politics’ “Open Secrets” website. The site says the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) “account for practically all” political spending from teachers unions.

The second-highest recipient was Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who got $50,996.

The amount of money that went directly to any one candidate, however, pales in comparison to the money teachers unions donated to liberal groups in general — over $23.5 million from the NEA and over $14 million from the AFT. Combined, those two groups spent $43 million in political expenditures during the 2020 election cycle, according to Open Secrets.

They both endorsed Biden for the presidency in March.

During the speech Biden, who loves to promote raises for people when it is not coming from his pocket.

“You deserve a raise, not just praise,” he said. “Over the last year, the entire country has witnessed the extraordinary dedication and resolve of the NEA members: teachers, professionals.”
