Dan Bongino Says Biden Has ‘Worst Political Instincts’ He’s Ever Seen

Conservative host Dan Bongino is sounding the alarm about President Joe Biden’s “moronic” decisions throughout his presidency.

“The man has zero political instincts and definitely doesn’t have the political instincts needed to succeed as president of the United States. For example, despite our open border crisis, you’re all watching TV, right? The Biden administration quietly amended the language of its immigration policy to make it easier for some Afghan nationals to enter the country, even if they have ties to terrorists,” Bongino said.

“Wait, you don’t believe me? Read for yourself. You see it right there, from the Department of Homeland Security, saying the new exemptions may apply to the following: individuals who provided insignificant or certain limited material support to a designated terrorist organization. It’s hard to believe this is even being considered by the president,” Bongino added.

He continued: “But in case you missed that one, here’s another example of this man’s genuinely awful political instincts. The worst I have ever seen,” he added. “He has the worst political instincts you’ve ever seen.”

Bongino recently revealed that his sources in the U.S. Secret Service have told him that Biden’s mental state is deteriorating to the point that it is more than just a little problematic.

“Not a joke and not hyperbole—I’m hearing from people close to the situation that Biden’s cognitive decline is rapidly worsening and is becoming increasingly difficult to mask. The Democrats are going to have to make a decision soon,” Bongino said.

Bongino said it gave him “no joy in saying this, and I mean that [Biden] is in real significant trouble. And listen to me—everyone around him knows it. Everyone knows it. This is the scandal—that they’re not telling you how bad his condition is.”

“It’s not a mystery. It’s the worst-kept secret in the White House,” Bongino added.

Biden’s polling and approval ratings continue to drop as the 2024 presidential election creeps closer.

A new poll shows that only 39 percent of voters in four key swing states—Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina—have confidence in the president’s ability to handle the economy, RealClearPolitics reported.

Steve Cortes, the chairman and founder of the League of American Workers, said in a column posted to the site that the reason 77 percent of the voters surveyed said that the nation is on the wrong track is because of the economy.

Of the 39 percent that had a favorable opinion of the president’s handling of the economy, a mere 9 percent said they gave him “strong approval.”

“So, despite the propaganda of media apologists and cherry-picking of a small set of data points that appear temporarily uplifting, voters clearly understand their tough economic slog and place blame squarely upon Biden and his allies,” the author said.

“In fact, in separate polling from Gallup going back seven decades, Republicans have never before enjoyed a larger edge on the primary issue of the day, the economy. Combining that survey with this new LAW poll in battleground states, the harsh reality of economic anxiety becomes clearer, especially for citizens of modest means,” he said.

“Our new poll revealed, for example, just how worried workers are about the erosion of their earning power and their subsequent inability to pay soaring housing costs for rents or mortgages.

“In these four states, fully 39% of voters said that ‘Income Erosion’ was a top concern regarding the effects of systemic, punishing inflation. Americans work harder to afford less, as evidenced by the crushing 24 straight months of declining real wages under Biden, meaning pay adjusted for the costs of the goods and services of life,” he said.

More concerning for the president, another recent poll showed that his support among Democratic voters has cratered.

Newsweek reported: “President Joe Biden’s job approval rating among Democrats dropped by 11 percentage points in the past month for the worst assessment among his own party since he took office, according to a Gallup poll released on Thursday. The survey found Biden’s current approval rating among Democrats is 75 percent, a double-digit drop from September’s 86 percent. The Gallup poll also recorded his overall approval rating at 37 percent, a decline from last month’s 41 percent. His overall rating had previously dipped to as low as 37 percent only once before, when it hit the mark in April.”

Democratic Party strategist James Carville said that some Democrats have asked him to stop talking about the president’s chances of being elected again as Democrat Rep. Dean Phillips has decided to challenge the president in the Democratic primary.

“I’m looking at polling data, and I’m looking at all of it. The president’s numbers are just not good, and they’re not getting any better,” he said.

“I talk to a lot of people who do a lot of congressional-level polling and state polling, and they’re all saying the same thing. There’s not an outlier; there’s not another opinion. The question is: Has the country made up its mind?” he said.
