Once again, far-left co-host of “The View,” Joy Behar, has made headlines and for all the wrong reasons if you’re a conservative, this time with a ruthless attack on former first lady Melania Trump.

Behar’s remarks come on the heels of an interview with Melania that aired over the weekend in which she said she believes that the so-called ‘mainstream media’ is extremely biased against Republicans.

In an interview with Fox New’s, Pete Hegseth, Melania was asked what she thought about the current “state of the country” with record-high inflation, a mounting shortage of baby formula, skyrocketing gas and diesel prices, and more.

She directly blamed “leadership” at the White House or rather, the “lack thereof.”

“I think it’s sad to see what’s going on, if you really look deeply into it,” Melania shared. “I think a lot of people are struggling and suffering, and what is going on around the world as well. So, it’s very sad to see and I hope it changes fast.”

Hegseth then asked the former first lady what comes to her mind when she sees issues including baby formula shortages around the U.S., which she called “heartbreaking.”

“It’s been in the news, as someone who loves children and has dedicated so much to their betterment, how do you feel when you see [a] shortage of baby formula and families just struggling to get basic items like that?” Hegseth asked.

“It’s heartbreaking to see that they are struggling and the food is not available for children in [the] 21st century in [the] United States of America,” the former FLOTUS responded. When the host pressed her more for an explanation as to what’s going on, she said simply, “Leadership.”

Hegseth then asked her why, as a former model, she never appeared on the cover of fashion and glamor magazines like Vogue.

“They’re biased and they have likes and dislikes, and it’s so obvious,” the former first lady said. “And I think American people and everyone sees it. It was their decision and I have much more important things to do and I did in the White House than being on the cover of Vogue.”

The interview set Behar off on a tangent.

“What did she do?” Behar said. “She turned that beautiful Rose Garden into a cemetery. That’s one thing she did. What did she do exactly? Honestly, I don’t care what she does. I really don’t care. Do you?”

In fact, Melania Trump had the Rose Garden refurbished, while also having new concrete put down so as to improve access for Americans with disabilities. After she was criticized by a left-wing presidential historian for her work, she issued a statement refuting his allegations on Twitter.

“Evisceration of White House Rose Garden was completed a year ago this month, and here was the grim result—decades of American history made to disappear,” Michael Beschloss initially tweeted in August 2021.

“[Beschloss] has proven his ignorance by showing a picture of the Rose Garden in its infancy. The Rose Garden is graced with a healthy & colorful blossoming of roses. His misleading information is dishonorable & he should never be trusted as a professional historian,” the Office of the Melania Trump tweeted in response.

Some even took Beschloss to task for his hot take, including longtime and now former CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller.

“‘Evisceration?’ A bit over the top, Michael. Not as if they built a Trump Pitch n Putt there,” he tweeted.
