You might remember the insane things Democrats did to stop Brett Kavanaugh from becoming our newest Supreme Court justice.
Finally, another member of their party is facing justice.
As the media hyped up the bogus scandals surrounding this case, Democrats tried to out any Republicans who stood with the judge.
The names and personal information of numerous Republican politicians were released. This act, called doxxing, exposed them and their families to possible threats and harm.
We discovered that two Democratic aides broke into their boss’s office to steal this information. The first one was caught and sentenced a few months ago.
Now, his conspirator is facing the music.
From Fox News:
A second aide to Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., has been sentenced in a scheme to break into Hassan’s office to obtain and publicly post the personal information of several Republican politicians amid contentious confirmation hearings for Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The 24-year-old former aide, Samantha Deforest Davis, was sentenced to two years of supervised probation with 200 hours of community service, with a suspended sentence of 180 days in prison.
The second aide to Sen. Hassan has been sentenced after she tried to dox numerous Republicans during the Kavanaugh hearings.
She and her ally, Jackson A. Cosko, were trying to intimidate Republicans. They wanted Republican leaders to be too scared to back Trump’s pick, unless they were exposed to the public.
This kind of move is sleazy and dirty. It is a direct attempt to influence people with threats.
CNN has been called out for doxxing private citizens after they created harmless memes. But it is especially disgusting when members of our government—even aides—do this.
They are saying, “Do what we say, or else!” These two aides thought they could control the fate of Judge Kavanaugh—and our Supreme Court—through threats and intimidation.
That’s no different from the kind of thuggish and bully tactics fascist regimes have done throughout history. They hate people who think differently and oppose their views. So, they use fear to control them.
The fact that this woman was sentenced to two years supervised probation and 200 hours of community service is a good thing. It shows that our country will not tolerate such ugly and un-American actions like doxxing.
Hopefully, this will be a lesson to any Democrat who thinks they can win, no matter what. We have laws and a system of justice that must be upheld.
