Democratic nominee Kamala Harris has formally chosen far-left Democrat Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota to be her running mate in the 2024 presidential election.

“Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, looking to strengthen the Democratic ticket in Midwestern states,” the Associated Press reported.

“She will introduce Walz at a rally Tuesday evening in Philadelphia. Harris was the only candidate eligible to receive votes after no other candidate qualified by a deadline last week. She officially claimed the nomination Monday night when the DNC released final results,” the outlet added.

Earlier this week, British TV journalist Piers Morgan characterized Harris as the “most far-left senator” in modern history while also predicting that the “honeymoon” period she’s experiencing as she launches her bid for the presidency will be shortlived.

Morgan joined Fox News Saturday Night, hosted by Jimmy Failla, who had previously compared former President Donald Trump to Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. He argued that both Trump and the singer are showmen who have not slowed down with age. He also predicted that Trump was just getting started in relation to the election.

After getting serious about the upcoming race, Morgan said he believed Harris faced a tough road ahead against Trump in November. In his analysis, Morgan claimed that Biden was pressured to drop out of the race by Democratic Party elites. He also likened the party’s leaders to the ruthless characters in the 1990 mafia film, “Goodfellas.”

“I think the whole thing has been a fascinating exercise in the ruthless betrayal nature of politics,” he said. “One minute, they are all over you like a rash, and the next minute, you are a rash.”

Morgan was then asked by Failla to address the media “propaganda,” which he said portrays Harris in a positive light while frequently overlooking her record on issues and her overall unpopularity.

“Now we are being told she’s the greatest person in the world despite the fact she ran for president, and when she dropped out, she was pulling behind ISIS,” Failla quipped.

“She’s getting a fantastically amazing honeymoon, and it’s going to last about a week,” Morgan said. “Then reality will kick in, and Donald Trump will start going very hard, as he already is about her record, and her record is she is literally, probably the most far-left senator in modern American history.”

HBO “Real Time” host Bill Maher also torched Harris and her prospects of defeating Trump during his Friday show.

“Vice President will get all of Biden’s campaign money, and on the Democrats’ best issue, abortion, she’s a walking reminder to women that Republicans are coming for the abortion pill. She won’t just protect Plan B, she is Plan B,” Maher joked.

“And as a former prosecutor, Kamala was putting criminals in jail back before liberals decided that was a bad thing. Now that CVS is locking the shaving cream behind plexiglass, Democrats are coming around to her again,” Maher added.

The HBO anchor continued by criticizing Harris’ complete lack of national electoral success.

“Harris would be the first woman president, first black woman president, and first Asian president. But I don’t vote for who will be the first. I vote for who will win. And for whatever reason, Harris has never been popular. You can count the number of delegates she won in the 2020 primaries on one hand, as long as that hand has no fingers,” Maher declared.

Earlier in July, Maher slammed Harris for being deeply unlikable and reminded viewers that she won zero delegates when she ran for the Democratic nomination in 2020.

“Yes, replacing a president as his party’s candidate this late will seem like a big deal,” Maher said. “For about three days, and then we’ll all be over it.”

Maher listed several potential Democratic replacements for Biden, including Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and Vice President Kamala Harris.
