Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump declared her father-in-law, former President Donald Trump, to be the most victimized person in the history of the country as he continues to face several criminal charges, most of which could land him in jail.

During a segment with Newsmax TV’s Carl Higbie, the host said, “You guys, since 2015, since he came down the escalator, have battled fake information and yet, with less money than everybody else, have come out on top most times.”

“If you wanna look at a family, and I’ll say a man in Donald Trump, who has nothing but misinformation and disinformation that they like to say on the other side of the aisle thrown at him every single day,” Lara Trump responded.

“I mean, there’s never been anyone in history, I don’t think, that has taken as much incoming as Donald Trump, and yet every day it feels like we are vindicated in so many spaces because at some point, Carl, the truth ultimately comes out,” she said.

In conclusion, the RNC official added,“People are starting to wake up because you can only lie to people so long.”

To his daughter-in-law’s point, Trump has issued a big warning just days before his trial begins in Manhattan.

A New York appeals court judge delivered an 11th-hour ruling and rejected former President Donald Trump’s request to delay his April 15 criminal trial while he fights to move the case out of Manhattan.

The former president’s most recent attempt to postpone the momentous trial was unsuccessful on Monday when a New York appeals court judge denied his request to delay his criminal trial until April 15 while he worked to move the case out of Manhattan.

Soon after the decision, Trump fired off a fundraising email to supporters and warned that “they want me in prison.”

“ONE WEEK UNTIL ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE! My SHAM trial in New York begins. THEY WANT ME IN PRISON,” he wrote in a fundraising message.

What’s more, many people don’t believe that the former president can get a fair trial in his former home city of New York.

Michael Avenatti, who represented adult film star Stormy Daniels in an unsuccessful lawsuit against Trump before being convicted of various crimes, including defrauding her, spoke to MSNBC’s Ari Melber from the California prison where he’s serving his 19-year sentence on Tuesday evening, telling the host he is one of those who doesn’t believe Trump will get a fair trial.

“I don’t think that he can get a fair trial in New York. And to the people who claim that in fact, he can get a fair trial in New York with a New York jury, I would ask them, if they were to go to sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow and find out that the case had been moved to Mississippi or Alabama, would they still think the trial was going to be fair?” Avenatti said.

Avenatti added: “And I think if they were being honest, they would answer no. So, I don’t think he can get a fair trial in New York.”

In an interview with NewsNation founder Dan Abrams, SiriusXM podcaster Megyn Kelly made the same prediction.

“Oh, he’s getting convicted. I don’t really think there’s a lot of mystery about that. He shouldn’t, but he’s going to get convicted. The jury’s going to hate him. Manhattan went 92%, between 87 and 92% for Joe Biden. That’s where this is going to be tried. These are not Trump lovers,” she said on Tuesday.

Look, I think the jury’s going to believe that he paid off a porn star before the election to make her go away and that he didn’t write down in his books, ‘Hush money to Stormy Daniels,’ because no one in the history of hush money payments has ever written that in any book anywhere. It defeats the whole purpose of a hush money payment,” she continued.

“So I grant you, yeah, they’re probably going to convict him. They’re going to convict him pretty easily, I think,” she said.
