The family of Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, is not going to be shying away from the spotlight anytime soon.

They have changed politics in this nation and those changes are going to continue, as evidenced by the announcement of Lara Trump, the daughter of Eric Trump, on Monday.

Lara was introduced during a segment on Fox News by host Ainsley Earhardt as a new contributor to the network, Mediaite reported.

“Let’s bring in Lara Trump, former senior adviser for the Trump campaign, and we have a big announcement. She is a new Fox News contributor. Welcome to the family, Lara,” the host said.

“I’m so excited, first of all, to be joining the Fox family,” Lara Trump said. “I sort of feel like I’ve been an unofficial member of the team for so long. You guys know, it was kind of a joke over the past five years, I would come there so often that the security guards were like maybe we should just give you a key.”

But Lara is continuing to contemplate a campaign for Senate and, she said, Fox News is being mindful of the rules.

“Fox has been very generous with me. They have said, look, if that’s something that you ultimately decide to do, they’re going to work with me on that front and make sure that everything all the rules are followed and we do everything properly. So thank you to the Fox team for allowing me to have the possibility that that’s in the future,” she said.

Her possible campaign for the Senate in North Carolina to take the place of the retiring Sen. Richard Burr has been talked about for some time and was even announced by her father-in-law Donald Trump weeks ago.

The 45th President of the United States crashed a dog rescue fundraiser to announce that his daughter-in-law Lara Trump is running for Senate, The Daily Mail reported.

Donald Trump has used a surprise appearance at a Mar-a-Largo dog rescue fundraiser to proclaim that his daughter-in-law Lara Trump will run for senate.

The former president delighted attendees at the event – held Friday night for Big Dog Ranch Rescue – as he took to the stage for an impromptu speech, which was shared to Twitter by journalist T.A. Walker.

“I didn’t exactly prepare for this, but I was walking by, and I heard everyone screaming,” Trump told the crowd who broke into raucous applause.

That was when he acknowledged his daughter-in-law, who helped to put the entire fundraiser together.

“I want to thank Lara, who’s been so incredible,” he said before talking about the = rumors that she about her considering a campaign to be a Senator from North Carolina in 2022.

“I don’t know, you’re running for the Senate. I hear she’s going to run for the Senate!” he said as the crowd began to cheer again.

Lara Trump has been rumored to be eyeing the North Carolina Senate seat for while and even got the endorsement of South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham during an appearance on Fox News in February.

“The biggest winner of this whole impeachment trial I think is Lara Trump,” he said on “Fox News Sunday.” “My dear friend Richard Burr, who I like and I’ve been friends to a long time, just made Lara Trump almost the certain nominee for the Senate seat in North Carolina to replace him if she runs, and I certainly would be behind her because I think she represents the future of the Republican Party.”

Michael Whatley, chairman of the North Carolina GOP, said that his goal is “making sure that we keep all of the Trump voters that came in during the last election and convert them into reliable Republican voters.”

“If Lara were to get in the race, I think she would command widespread and immediate attention across the state,” he said to ABC 7.
