A Democrat-appointed judge ruled in favor of Republicans, allowing the 2020 election audit to move forward against Democrats’ wishes.
Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Daniel Martin dismissed Democrats’ temporary restraining order aimed at halting the state’s audit of over 2 million 2020 election ballots.
Judge Martin said there was not enough evidence presented to show that voters would be harmed by currently implemented audit procedures.
“The temporary pause fell through Friday evening, however, after the Arizona Democratic Party said it would not post the $1 million bond that the judge requested to cover any expenses that the Senate faced caused by the halt,” the report added.
Additionally, Judge Martin ruled that Cyber Ninjas, the third-party group conducting the vote audit, must make their procedures public, barring a successful appeal.
Cyber Ninjas had filed a motion on Sunday to keep their methods private.
“Maricopa County Superior Court Judge has *denied* Cyber Ninjas request to have their processes for the #azaudit done under seal,” reported Fox 10’s Matt Galka.
Galka added: “This means the processes have to be made public. Judge has stayed the order until tomorrow at noon, giving Cyber Ninjas time to appeal.”
Donald Trump recently spoke at his home in Mar-a-Lago about the ongoing forensic audit in Arizona.
Trump warned what was coming next following the Arizona audit.
“Now let’s see what they find… you’ll watch Pennsylvania…Georgia… Michigan… Wisconsin…New Hampshire. They found a lot of votes up in New Hampshire JUST NOW,” Trump said.
“Let’s see what they find,” Trump said in remarks captured on video at his Florida golf resort.
“Some very interesting things are happening in Arizona,” he noted.
“Let’s see what they find. I wouldn’t be surprised if they found thousands and thousands and thousands of votes,” Trump added.
“After that, we’ll watch Pennsylvania, and you watch Georgia, then you’re going to watch Michigan and Wisconsin, and you’re watching New Hampshire. They found a lot of votes up in New Hampshire just now … you saw that?” he added.
“This was a rigged election, everybody knows it, and we’re going to be watching it very closely,” he concluded.
The Maricopa Audit is critical because it could set precedent in revealing potential election fraud and trigger other state legislatures to conduct a similar physical ballot audit and re-canvass.
