HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher might have forgotten which set he was on for a brief moment when he dropped an “F-bomb” during a live CNN broadcast on Friday.

The host, who now has a new segment called “Overtime” on the struggling network, further interviews his “Real Time” guests and appeared to shock some viewers with his use of profanity.

As reported by Decider, Maher and his guests were talking about Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders when the host began riffing on ‘nepo-babies’ — short for nepotism children, or kids who allegedly get what they have in life by tagging along on a parent’s coattails (in this case, Sanders’ father, Mike Huckabee, was also a Republican governor of Arkansas).

“Does the fact that… Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a nepo baby detract from her political accomplishments? I guess they were hearing me talk about the Huckabee dynasty,” Maher said. “You know what that is? It is like, you mostly refer to people in show business as nepo. Anybody whose mother or father was a star and then you’re a star, that makes you a nepo baby. I could name many of them. They’re very upset about being called that.

“I’ve noticed this phenomenon, as many people have out here,” he continued. “It’s fine if your parents were in show business. Just don’t say, as I’ve heard some of them say, ‘Well, it wasn’t any easier for me.’ Yes, it was. It was easier! Or the other thing they say a lot is, ‘Well, it just got me in the door.’ Well, that’s a lot of it in show business, is getting in the door.”

Then Maher said: “Anybody can act. It’s not that f**king hard” — before immediately apologizing.

“Oh, sorry. Sorry, CNN. I know. I forgot. You’re not supposed to— not on HBO,” he noted.

Earlier this month, Maher took far-left liberals to task for attempts to de-gender society, so to speak.

“If you’re part of today’s woke revolution, you need to study the part of revolutions where they spin out of control because the revolutionaries get so drunk on their purifying elixir they imagine they can reinvent the very nature of human beings,” Maher noted.

He then referenced Communist revolutionaries who believed they could rid humanity of selfishness.

“The problem with communism, and with some very recent ideologies here at home, is that they think they can change reality by screaming at it, that you can bend human nature by holding your breath. But that’s the difference between reality and your mommy,” Maher said.

The Daily Wire noted:

Maher referenced Mao’s war on the Four Olds of old thinking, old culture, old customs, and old habits before he compared communist reeducation programs to freshman orientation at American universities.

To back up his claims, Maher pointed to Jason Kilborn, a law professor who was disciplined for alluding to racial slurs in a test question about racial bias, and Winston Marshall, a former banjo player for Mumford and Sons who was criticized after sharing that he liked a book by Andy Ngo.

During the monologue, Maher also blasted those who think they can erase gender and make obesity healthy by creating a new human.

“With communists, that human was no longer selfish. In America today, that human is no longer born male or female. And obesity is not something that affects health. You can be healthy at any size. Seriously, we voted on it,” the comedian said.

Maher, who has blasted left-wing gender identity ideology before, also ripped liberal outlet The Atlantic as a “formerly serious magazine” after it published a story about not segregating sports by sex.

“I’ve spent three decades on TV mocking Republicans who said climate change was just a theory,” he concluded. “And now I got to deal with people who say, ‘You know what else is just a theory? Biology.’”
