Paola Ramos, the daughter of reporter Jorge Ramos and an MSNBC contributor, had a dire warning for the Democrat Party.

She said that Latinas are abandoning the Democrat Party when she appeared on the MSNBC show “Morning Joe” on Friday, Mediaite reported.

“The larger picture is that Latinas have been sending a message for the last four years,” she said.

She said that former President “Donald Trump won seven of the 14 countries along the U.S. Mexico border, right, and he was able to flip two of those and he made significant end roads in places like the Rio Grande Valley.”

She talked about Rep. Mayra Flores’ victory in the special in June and warned that there are “three Latina Republicans in South Texas that are running for office that are completely transforming the dynamics of politics in Texas.”

“We’re not trying to say that Republicans are winning the national Latino vote,” she said. “We’re saying Democrats are losing it. The Latinos are sending a message, and we need to listen.”

She said “that immigration has truly never been a top issue for Latinos. And I think that’s the myth. The myth is if you talk about migrants, you know, if you show these stories, then Latinas will vote for you. That’s not true. Latinas care about economy, they care about crime, they care about jobs, they care about education. That’s it. They wanted to be talked to and spoken to the same way that Democrats would go out for any other vote.

“I think it’s a matter of at least if you’re looking at this story of Mayra Flores, at least matching that, you know, at least spending the resources, at least showing up and listening. And I think that’s the story here. Latinas … they’re sending a message. They’re drifting away, they’re walking away from the Democratic Party,” she said.

A Democratic congressman has made an alarming accusation that has led critics to label him an election denier.

At an event last week with House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas) falsely claimed that the GOP “stole” a House seat from a fellow Dem earlier this year in a special election.

Specifically, Gonzalez made his accusation in regards to a victory by Rep. Mayra Flores (R-Texas) over Rep. Dan Sanchez (D-Texas), in which she flipped a seat red that had been in Democratic hands for 150 years. Her victory in the border district was seen as a major win for the GOP as the region has suffered mass illegal immigration and drug smuggling during President Joe Biden’s term.

“Our democracy is at stake,” Gonzalez claimed. “There’s millions and millions of dollars from outside our region and outside our state that are coming here to try to steal our elections and take away your value and take away the process that we rely on, which is elections.

“And we don’t have the resources to compete with these outside resources. We can’t compete with the Koch brothers, we can’t compete with big oil, and big tobacco, and the NRA. They can outspend us, but they can’t outwork us,” he continued, reiterating typical Democrat Party talking points.

“They stole that last election,” Gonzalez falsely claimed. “They spent $3 million to our $250,000, they campaigned for two years, and they still only won by less than one percent. So, the way to turn this around is getting out and vote.”

Fox News reported that Schiff also spoke at the event and praised his fellow Democrat despite his election denialism.

“The work you’re doing to support our Democratic institutions, the infrastructure of our elections, the rule of law, the rule of law applies to everyone equally could not be more important,” Schiff said. “It’s been such a pleasure to meet so many of you and thank you for all you’re doing to support my wonderful colleague.”
