An activist who is supportive of former President Donald Trump went viral online after he confronted Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) at an airport last week.

X Strategies CEO Alex Bruesewitz posted a video of the encounter on his social media accounts after he said he “ran into [Schiff] at the airport.”

“I think you should be ashamed of yourself and how often you lie to the American people,” Bruesewitz said to Schiff, who repeatedly made false claims during Trump’s tenure that the then-president “colluded” with Russian President Vladimir Putin to steal the 2016 election from two-time Democratic loser Hillary Clinton.

Bruesewitz then mentioned the upcoming U.S. Senate race next year in which Schiff is running for the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s seat, a contest that sees him in a virtual tie with fellow Democratic Rep. Katie Porter.

“I hope you lose your Senate race — which it looks like you’re doing — and that you retire from American politics because you are a sick man.”

The person recording then told Schiff, “Thank you for costing him a lot of legal fees with your subpoena.”

Bruesewitz was previously called to testify before the Nancy Pelosi-picked Jan. 6 Committee.

In a June post on X, the GOP activist said, “Adam Schiff knowingly sent out BS subpoenas to dozens of innocent citizens. Forcing people to spend fortunes to defend themselves. Not just with the Russian collusion big lie, but also with the sham January 6th committee. Schiff used both of those lies to personally enrich himself and gain political notoriety.”

It’s not clear which airport the encounter took place, but Bruesewitz took to the platform on Monday to add: “Adam Schiff is a sick man who should’ve been expelled from Congress a long time ago.”

“He defrauded the American taxpayers with his bogus Russian collusion witch hunt and then did it again with the sham J6 committee,” he added. “He is also now targeting @elonmusk because Elon stands for free speech.”

Trump’s former State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus previously blasted Schiff over his role in promoting the discredited anti-Trump Steele dossier when she appeared as a guest co-host on the ABC Daytime show “The View.”

Schiff was on the show to promote his a book, but he got more than he bargained for when Ortagus accused him of possibly promoting Russian disinformation.

“I want to ask you about something that’s in the news a lot right now,” she said as she began to discuss his role in promoting the Steele dossier. “We know, last week, the main source was indicted for lying about most of the key claims in that dossier. Do you have any reflections on your role in promoting this to the American people?”

“Well, first of all, whoever lied to the FBI or lied to Christopher Steele should be prosecuted, and they are,” the representative said. “And unlike in the Trump administration, if they’re convicted, they should go to jail and not be pardoned.” He said that “we couldn’t have known” that people were “lying” to Steele, so it was “proper to investigate” the dossier and its claims that Trump was compromised by the Russians.

As he danced around the question, Ortagus at him again.

“You spread disinformation yourself, for years, by promoting this,” she said, noting that many people were concerned about “your culpability in all of this.”

“Well, I completely disagree with the premise,” he said. “It’s one thing to say that allegations should be investigated, and they were; it’s another to say that we should have foreseen in advance that some people were lying to Christopher Steele, which is impossible, of course, to do. But let’s not use that as a smoke screen to somehow shield Donald Trump’s culpability for inviting Russia to help him in the election, which they did, for trying to coerce Ukraine into helping him in the next election, which he did, into inciting an insurrection, which he did. None of that is undercut, none of that serious misconduct is in any way diminished by the fact that people lied to Christopher Steele.”

“No, I think just your credibility is,” she responded.
