SiriusXM star podcaster Megyn Kelly blasted MSNBC co-hosts Joe Scarborough and wife Mika Brzezinski after they reached out to and met with President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate last week, a meeting they reportedly sought.

The former Fox News host accused “Morning Joe” hosts of gross hypocrisy after spending years trashing Trump and comparing him to the most historically terrible leaders in world history, including World War II-era dictators Adolph Hitler and Italy’s fascist Benito Mussolini.

“The absolutely ridiculous pair on the MSNBC morning show, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. How long have they been telling us that he’s an existential threat, that he’s a Hitler-esque figure, that he’s a fascist, that women will die if he gets elected?” she said to guest and journalist Glenn Greenwald. “Well, they’ve done a 180. They’ve done a 180 as their ratings circle the bowl… This is so juicy.”

“I searched for a way to respond appropriately, and I called on my 10 years as a litigator, in addition to my now 20 as a journalist, and I think I found the perfect phrase: Go f*ck yourselves. Go f*ck yourselves, you dishonest jokes of faux journalists,” Kelly riffed.

“What an absurd farce… Which one was insincere? He’s Hitler? Or now we’re going to speak truth to power and find a way of speaking to and working with Donald Trump? Which one was a lie?” she continued.

Greenwald agreed, responding, “This is not hyperbole. I’ve given actual thought to this. I’ve done rankings. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are the most humiliating and pathetic people in all of corporate media, and I realized there’s a lot of serious contenders for that crown… Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski don’t believe in anything other than their own career in their own ratings..”

“I never thought I’d utter these words, but I agree with Keith Olbermann. Keith Olbermann’s reaction is my reaction,” Kelly said, referencing the former sportscaster and MSNBC far-left host.

“I’m going to tell you something. I was recently asked to be part of a debate, and I was considering doing this debate, and then they told me that Scarborough had been subbed in for the other person who I was going to be across from, and as soon as I heard his name, my answer was no. In no world would I ever appear with that cretin,” Kelly revealed.

“He is as low as you can go in our field, in our media field, and that’s saying something. He will do anything, say anything, to make himself feel important,” she added.

The MSNBC co-hosts addressed their meeting with Trump during their Monday show.

“On Friday we were given the opportunity” to meet with Trump and express concerns about some of his appointments, Brzezinski announced. “Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen him in seven years.”

Scarborough added that the three talked about “a lot of issues including abortion, mass deportation, threats of political retribution against political opponents and media outlets,” a not-so-veiled reference to colleagues like Rachel Maddow, who has bizarrely insisted that Trump will put her in a concentration-style camp.

While both sides obviously don’t see eye to eye on many things, “what we did agree on was to restart communications,” Brzezinski added.

“Joe and I realize it’s time to do something different, and that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but talking with him,” she noted further.

In a subsequent Fox News interview, Trump said he is in the process of transforming America into “the greatest and most powerful country in the world.”

“In order to Make America Great Again, it is very important, if not vital, to have a free, fair and open media or press,” Trump said before addressing his sit-down with Scarborough and Brzezinski.

“I received a call from Joe Scarborough requesting a meeting for him and Mika, and I agreed that it would be a good thing if such meeting took place,” Trump said. “We met at Mar-a-Lago on Friday morning at 8:00.”

Trump said the meeting was “extremely cordial.”

“Many things were discussed, and I very much appreciated the fact that they wanted to have open communication,” he said. “In many ways, it’s too bad that it wasn’t done long ago.”
