A former top adviser to Donald Trump is sounding an alarm about the former president’s successor, President Joe Biden, after an incident last week that stunned members of Congress.

Stephen Miller warned that Biden’s cognitive decline is a danger to the country and the world, saying that he really should not be carrying on as leader of the free world.

Miller’s remarks to Newsmax TV on Friday come after Biden appeared to be looking for the late Republican Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski, who died in a motor vehicle accident in August, at an event in Washington on Wednesday.

“And I want to thank all of you here, including bipartisan elected officials like Representative McGovern, Senator Braun, Senator Booker, Representative — Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie? I didn’t think she was — she wasn’t going to be here — to help make this a reality. And thanks to Senator Stabenow, Representative DeLauro for their leadership,” he said.

The incident was just the latest in a string of gaffes that appear to indicate accelerating deterioration of the 79-year-old president’s mental capacity, and it drew a pointed response from Miller, who referenced the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine in saying that Biden could quite literally stumble into a nuclear conflict.

“Why aren’t people talking about using utilizing the 25th Amendment to get this guy out?” Newsmax host Eric Bolling asked Miller.

“Every cabinet secretary needs to be asked whether or not they’re going to invoke the 25th Amendment,” Miller said.

“President Biden is not cognitively present. He does not have the mental capacity to serve as the President of the United States of America. If he was in a nursing home, he would be in the assisted living section, not the area where people are in a retirement community, who are living their own lives and who are making their own decisions,” he continued.

Miller then said that Biden is “completely cognitively diminished and deteriorated,” adding that the current president is running the country during the first major European war in decades.

“There’s obviously been some conflicts, but the first major war in Europe,” he said. “You’re talking about someone that could lead us to nuclear war.”

Last week after the Walorski gaffe, several Republican lawmakers called on Biden to immediately take a cognitive test.

“Joe Biden’s diminished capacity is so blatantly obvious that even the White House Press corps couldn’t hide their concern,” Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas said. “That’s how you know it’s bad.”

“In yet another pathetic display of incompetence, Joe Biden not only thought my departed colleague was alive, but he also had his puppet-master, Karine Jean-Pierre, deny he was confused,” Rep. Ronnie Jackson (R-Texas), a former White House physician who has routinely called on Biden to take a cognitive test, added, according to Fox News.

“It doesn’t take a neurologist to realize he’s in serious cognitive decline,” he added. “The American people know what’s going on here, and they don’t think the Commander-in-Chief is capable of doing his job.

“It’s past time for White House staff and the liberal media to stop shielding him from questions about his mental acuity and demand he answers my call for a cognitive test,” he continued.

Rep. Greg Murphy, R-N.C., a still-practicing surgeon as well as the GOP Doctors Caucus vice chairman, told Fox News Digital that these “kinds of senseless gaffes have become par for the course for this president” while blasting the White House for their “cover-up” of Biden’s latest gaffe, the outlet reported.

“The American people can see that Mr. Biden’s mental acuity is certainly in question,” Murphy said. “What’s more disturbing to me, however, is the way in which this White House continues to deceive and misdirect the American people on a daily basis.

“It appears there is nothing the White House won’t do to cover up for a failed president and a failed administration,” Murphy added. “The American people clearly deserve better.”

Kyle Hupfer, the Indiana Republican Party chairman, noted in a statement following Biden’s mistake that it “calls too much into question.”

“No amount of spin from the White House can justify President Joe Biden forgetting the tragic passing of Jackie Walorski — the latest gaffe that calls so much into question,” Hupfer said.

“The American people deserve a straight answer, not a political talking point, as to how the President of the United States could forget that a congresswoman he was purportedly trying to honor had passed away just last month,” he continued.
