A new poll reveals that a chunk of voters say they don’t believe President Joe Biden will make it beyond a firm term in office.

After a year of record inflation, gasoline price hikes, COVID lockdowns, a surge of illegal immigration, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, and many other issues, some voters don’t know if Biden will last another two and a half years.

A poll from I&I/TIPP asked voters: “In your opinion, how likely is it that Joe Biden will complete his first term in office?”

Below are some of the results:

Predictably, most Americans (71%) said Biden was likely to last through his four years. But 21%, or one in five, said it was “not likely” he would last.

A closer look at the data provides little comfort for Biden’s own pollsters and political advisers.

Just 45% of those responding said it was “very likely” Biden would last. Some 25% said it was only “somewhat likely,” hardly a vote of confidence in Biden’s presidential future. Another 8% said they are “not sure.”

And, as often in recent years, the poll’s results are deeply skewed by political affiliation. Some 90% of Democrats believe Biden will make it to the end of his term, while 49% of Republicans do. Once again, independents split the difference at 66%, though they are closer to the GOP than to the Dems.

Meanwhile, only 6% of Democrats say it’s “unlikely” Biden will last, compared to 43% of Republicans and 22% of independents.

The poll also found troubling results when asking Americans about Vice President Kamala Harris.

The I&I/TIPP Poll asked: “How confident are you that Vice President Kamala Harris would be an effective commander-in-chief against an adversary posing a military threat to the United States if she were to become President?”

Only 45% of Americans said they would be “confident” in Harris, with just 25% saying “very confident.” An equal 45% said they’d be “not confident,” with 30% of that total saying “not at all confident.”

According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll, a strong majority of voters said Biden is unfit to serve as president while also revealing the lowest job approval rating (37 percent) from the poll since becoming president over a year ago.

“The recent poll revealed that the “underlying weakness” is to the degree that most adults “have doubts about his personal capacities.” When the respondents were asked if he was a strong leader, 59 percent said no, while 36 percent said yes. In fact, those percentages resemble his job approval; 37 percent approve and 55 percent disapprove,” Breitbart reported.

“When asked about Biden’s “mental sharpness” to serve as president, 54 percent said they do not think Biden is mentally sharp enough, while only 40 percent said he is. When respondents were asked the same question in May 2020, when Biden was only a candidate, 51 percent said he had the “mental sharpness” needed to serve as president, while 43 percent said he did not,” the report added.

A stunning poll released by CNN last month found that a majority of registered Democrats and Democrat-leaning Independents think the party should look elsewhere for the 2024 nomination.

The poll asked registered Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents who they believe the party “should nominate as the party’s candidate for president in 2024,” giving them the options of Biden or a different candidate.

Only 45 percent of Democrats said the party should renominate Biden, while a whopping 51 percent said they preferred an alternative. Five percent said they had no opinion on the matter.

Of the Democrats who said they wanted a different candidate over Biden, 31 percent said it’s because they don’t want the president to be reelected, while 35 percent said it’s because they don’t think Biden could win against Republicans.

This comes a week after another poll showed that a majority of Americans believe that President Biden is mentally unfit to be the commander-in-chief.

According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll, a strong majority of voters said Biden is unfit to serve as president while also revealing the lowest job approval rating (37 percent) from the poll since becoming president over a year ago.

Late last year, a survey from Quinnipiac found that 54 percent of Americans don’t think Biden will seek re-election in 2024.
