MSNBC host Joy Reid criticized supporters of Donald Trump in a pre-holiday tirade using sharp and racially charged language and suggesting that Americans who voted for Vice President Kamala Harris should feel no obligation to spend Thanksgiving or Christmas with family members who voted for the president-elect.
“Make your own sandwiches, wipe your own tears, troll amongst yourselves with Elon, and leave us alone,” Reid railed. “You got your heart’s desire. The president you dreamed of and worshiped instead of Jesus. And this time, you didn’t even have to storm the Capitol, smash the windows or try to k*ll police officers or issue de*th threats to poll workers.”
“But if you expect the 73 million who voted for the prosecutor, not the felon, and particularly the 92% of black women who voted for Kamala to give you a cookie for your vote, a trophy, a hug, a high five, you might be asking too much. If we want to eat with you, we will. But if we just want some peace over the holidays, and we don’t want to put up with your trolling… get over it. Stop acting like we owe you,” she added.
NEW: Joy Reid has a 10-minute meltdown about Thanksgiving, tells Trump “worshiping” Capitol storming MAGA they won’t get a “cookie, trophy or hug” from her.
For your own sanity, I am only sharing a minute of the meltdown.

Conservative influencer Collin Rugg noted in a post containing the video that the rant was much longer but that he clipped it for the “sanity” of his followers.
Several users on the X platform ripped the MSNBC host for her comments.
The angriest, most racist, and most irrelevant person on cable news.

Racism broadcasted to the entire country but it’s okay because it’s against white people. Anyone else getting sick of this?

Reid isn’t the only far-left cable news host to go off on a tangent after Trump’s victory. The president-elect’s incoming “border czar” left a CNN host stunned this week with his frank, blunt response to any Democratic mayor or state official who actively participates in blocking federal immigration authorities from deporting people in the U.S. illegally after he takes office.
During a show segment, host Kasie Hunt played two video clips — one of Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, who has promised to obstruct czar Tom Homan’s efforts to apprehend illegal immigrants. Johnston made headlines earlier for suggesting that he would like to see city police block federal immigration authorities from entering Denver, an action he compared to Tiananmen Square.
Hunt then played a clip of Homan during a Fox News segment with host Sean Hannity, where he promised that Johnston and other obstinant Democratic officials would face legal repercussions if he followed through on his threat to block federal immigration authorities.
“But look, me and the Denver mayor we agree on one thing. He’s willing to go to jail. I’m willing to put him in jail. There’s a statute, Title 8, United States Code 1324 – AAA. And what it says is it’s a felony if you knowingly harbor and conceal illegal aliens from immigration authorities. It is also a felony to impede a federal law enforcement officer,” Homan.
“So if you don’t want to help, that’s fine. He can get the hell out of the way, but we’re going to go do the job. President Trump has a mandate from the American people. We’ve got to secure this country and save American lives,” he added.
That led Hunt to react with a stunned “Ooof!”

Homan further elaborated on the duties Trump has entrusted him with during his interview with Hannity.
“I find it shocking that any mayor of a city would say — President Trump’s been clear. We want to concentrate on public safety threats and national security threats,” he said.
“I find it hard to believe that any mayor or governor would say they don’t want public safety threats removed from their neighborhoods. I mean, I don’t know what the hell is going on in Denver, but we’re going to go and we’re going to fix it. If you don’t want to fix it, if he doesn’t want to protect his communities, President Trump and ICE will,” he continued.
