Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk sounded alarm bells in a post on his X platform Sunday, warning that if former President Donald Trump loses to Vice President Kamala Harris, there will be no more elections.

“Very few Americans realize that, if Trump is NOT elected, this will be the last election. Far from being a threat to democracy, he is the only way to save it!” Musk began in response to another user who noted the Biden-Harris administration is rushing to grant citizenship to migrants at an unprecedented pace.

“Let me explain: if even 1 in 20 illegals become citizens per year, something that the Democrats are expediting as fast as humanly possible, that would be about 2 million new legal voters in 4 years. The voting margin in the swing states is often less than 20 thousand votes. That means if the ‘Democratic’ Party succeeds, there will be no more swing states!!” he wrote.

“Moreover, the Biden/Harris administration has been flying ‘asylum seekers,’ who are fast-tracked to citizenship, directly into swing states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Arizona. It is a surefire way to win every election,” he continued.

“America then becomes a one-party state and democracy is over. The only ‘elections’ will be the Democratic Party primaries. This happened many years ago in California, following the 1986 amnesty. The only thing holding California back from extreme socialism and suffocating government policies is that people can leave California and still remain in America. There won’t be any way out once one party controls the entire country. Everywhere in America will be like the nightmare that is downtown San Francisco,” he concluded.

Musk appeared to be referencing the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986, which was signed into law, surprisingly, by Republican President Ronald Reagan.

The law granted amnesty to undocumented immigrants who had arrived in the United States before January 1, 1984.

It also made it illegal for U.S. companies to knowingly hire illegal aliens, established penalties for those companies and established the General Accounting Office (GAO) to investigate employer discrimination against authorized immigrant workers, among other things.

Musk publicly endorsed Trump following the first assassination attempt against him in July during a rally in Butler, Pa.

Earlier this month, a super PAC funded in large part by Musk launched a series of digital ads aimed initially at swing state voters in support of Trump using distinct and direct language.

“If you sit this election out, Kamala and the crazies will win,” notes one ad on Google’s YouTube, which has been viewed more than three million times. “You will be stuck with higher costs and more illegals invading our country.”

It also depicts Trump as an “American Badass,” using imagery of him pumping his fist in the air following the July assassination attempt and imploring everyone to “fight, fight, fight!”

“We must STOP Kamala while we can,” reads an America PAC ad on Meta Platforms Inc.’s Facebook, where Musk’s PAC has placed the vast majority of its digital ad spend. “Arizona families have had ENOUGH of radical liberals.”

Bloomberg News reports that another ad on Facebook includes a voice-over with a Russian accent: “Meet Comrade Kamala,” the 30-second video says. “Ready to bring the Soviet Union to Michigan.”

Also on X, one ad recalls how the former president’s political opponents “tried to kick Trump off your ballot” before adding: “They even tried to end his campaign and take him out for good.”
