Barr Says Pelosi May Have Endangered Police By Comparing Them To Nazis

Attorney General William Barr testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday and it was nothing more than Democrats turning the entire ordeal into a circus.

But Barr remained calm and poised for most of the hearing and did his best to answer questions — when Democrats would actually let him.

One of Barr’s most notable comments came when he flat-out declared that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have endangered law enforcement when she publicly compared them to Nazi “stormtroopers” on Twitter, according to Politico.

Barr accused Pelosi of potentially endangering America’s law enforcement community by likening the federal officers occupying Portland, Oregon, to the “stormtroopers” of Nazi Germany.

Georgia GOP Rep. Doug Collins asked Barr during the hearing whether Pelosi’s comparison “encourages the violence that we’re seeing” and “participation against the police” at anti-racism protests.

Barr responded by saying: “I think that’s possible, and I think it’s irresponsible to call these federal law enforcement officers ‘stormtroopers.’”

Barr’s remark came in response to Pelosi’s recent tweet, where she called law enforcement “stormtroopers.”

“Unidentified stormtroopers. Unmarked cars. Kidnapping protesters and causing severe injuries in response to graffiti. These are not the actions of a democratic republic,” Pelosi wrote on Twitter earlier this month. “@DHSgov’s actions in Portland undermine its mission. Trump & his stormtroopers must be stopped.”

When there are violent riots happening across the country, the last thing America needs is for Pelosi to compare our police to Nazis.

Politico reported:

Congressional Democrats have condemned in harsh terms the Department of Homeland Security agents President Donald Trump deployed to Portland over the July 4 weekend to quash incidents of civil unrest associated with mass demonstrations against racial injustice and police brutality.

Critics of the administration have likened the federal force to secret police and characterized their intervention as fascistic — pointing to the officers’ ambiguous military-style clothing, aggressive treatment of protesters, and controversial tactics such as loading Americans into unmarked vehicles.

Earlier this month, Pelosi suffered another mental breakdown live in front of reporters.

She literally accused the Republicans of “trying to get away with murder” with their police reform legislation following the death of George Floyd, a black man who died in police custody back in late May.

Aside from that, Barr’s hearing provided several fireworks and fiery exchanges.
